Re: Figures you want that they'll never make (properly)

I wish they'd make Star Wars toys. I know it didn't do well, but those designs would lend themselves to toys so perfectly. I also wish they'd make Reaver Queen River. The shelves are frigging clogged with all these variant Mal figures. Who needs two different Mals when the only difference is that on...

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

Damn, Rollo, we went to second grade together before you joined the army. How could you forget that?

I figured it out, though. You're a traditionalist; you don't count Bruce Timm's Firefly: The Animated Series as actual seasons of the show proper.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

I was talking about the other Simon, Tornassi. I know he was a clear fill-in, but how'd you forget him? He was around until he just didn't return for Season 14 for some reason.

Re: Shows you'd resurrect (spun out of the Firefly thread)

G.I. Joe: Renegades -- You knew it'd be high on my list. After a full season of the "Joes" meeting all sorts of Easter eggs and exposing the Cobra Corporation for what it is, it ended on a cliffhanger. The Joes are vindicated and appear to be joining Hawk's new anti-Cobra team with many o...

Re: Shows you'd resurrect (spun out of the Firefly thread)

The Simpsons -- It only lasted six episodes, but this cartoon was hilarious! But I guess The Critic is still going strong after more than two decades, so it balances out a bit.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

The traveling salesman character that Vince Offer played was annoying as hell, though. The way he charmed Niska into totally dropping his blood feud against the entire crew, just by giving him a deal on a SlapChop, was not believable at all. And I was pissed when Kaylee married him instead of Simon....

Re: Questions about DC's relaunch

Superman has always been about oppressing gay people. If a gay rights advocate like Card wants to dance in the next movie, it's a little disturbing. Then again, the tide is turning, and those gay folks will get their rights taken away within the next generation. I'm just glad that all the war movies...

Re: Five Guys - eat there you fucking losers

I can't stand Five Guys. When I go out to eat, I want a good hamburger, because I can't make a hamburger at home. I don't know why it's so hard to find one. But everyone just serves chicken marsala. I went to Five Guys because it looked like the kind of place that was nice enough that they might hav...

Re: G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero

Man, your world must suck. When the landmark 21st movie (which was all silent due to a mistake in editing, but it turned out amazing for it) came out, I couldn't go anywhere in LA without seeing Year of the Snake bullshit everywhere. I had to go into the "Whitetown" section of Magenta Coun...

You shouldn't read Silver Sable. When he kills Donatello, you're going to be so pissed at how badly it's handled.

Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Arnold? In our world, all gay marriages have to be performed at Chik-Fil-A or they're not legal!

Fran Drescher was really hot in that fifth UHF movie that came out last year, too.

Re: Princess Peach

In my world, it's Mario who keeps getting kidnapped, and Princess Peach who has to save him over and over.

Also, the games are x-rated, so we see Bowser sodomizing Mario whenever Peach finally gets to the end.
