i heard the next wave is going to put together a sentinel! that sounds pretty sweet, but the figs are kinda "meh..." the only one that interests me is the "first appearance" spider-man. other than that, it's angel, mr. sinister, mystique, omega red and classic cyclops.

I don't know what's going on with this line. How can these characters top Silver Age guys that haven't been made yet like Black Panther and Captain Marvel? I'm sure the figures will be fine, but I'm not as hyped over getting a sentinel as I was over getting Galactus. I'll be picking and choosing from this wave I think, though I have enjoyed many of those characters.

Yeah, jjreason, they seem to be doing some bucket-scraping for their characters when there are many far more obvious choices out there.
Who in their right mind considers Cable, Deadpool, Vengeance, Omega Red, and that sort of ilk to be "Legends"?
If that's the sort of character they want to make, I demand a Sleepwalker figure now!!
Where's Thanos?
The Mandarin?
A Red Skull people can actually get their hands on?
A series with a "build it yourself" Fin Fang Foom or Uatu?

FYI - Thanos is coming in the Marvel Selects line, and that's the one I'll be getting for my ML collection. Even without the articulation, the added size and detail make him an astounding figure. There are pics around, fuck me if I know where they are though. He comes with an Infinity Gauntlet and everything!!!!

so, i was thinking about how ML's could do the "put together" large figures better, and thought the variant of each series could ALSO have a variant part! like, if the hulk from the "galactus" series had the head, the variant hulk could come with a variant head! or the variant bullseye could come with a variant arm, with an open hand, or something.
i dunno, just thought it would've been cooler than having duplicate arms and legs if you do collect 'em all...

You bring this up at an interesting time, Vyn. Series 10 includes packed-in Sentinel parts (as you well know) - but here's the kicker: unlike Galactus, which was 7 parts worth, the Sentinel is only 6 parts. Good news: each case of 12 figures will include 2 complete Sentinels. Potentially bad news: both the Mystique and Omega Red figures are one per case - and they're both going to contain the same Sentinel leg (not sure if it's the right one or the left one). Now, if I DO get the whole wave (unlikely this time), I'll have an extra leg.
Wouldn't it be the shit though if that extra leg had some battle damage ie skin ripped by adamantium claws with wires hanging out? That would make the most sense. Let's see what they do.

You know what else would be a cool pack in? Army builders! With every figure in a wave gets shipped with a member of Hydra. Or A.I.M. Or SHIELD. Or Guardsmen. Or Moleman's little yellow mole...people. Okay that one sucked. Skrulls! Kree! Shi-Ar!
I would also like to see down the road when the line is starting to wane is "Theme Waves" like a New Warriors wave or Alpha Flight Wave or Inhumans Wave. I can only take so many Iron Man and Wolverine variations.
I heard they are coming out with a Fantastic Four Classics line. I don't know who's in it but here's hoping we can beef up their rogues gallery with Super Skrull and Anhillus.
