Which is stronger...?

uh, y'know, the sounds that sound good together... sometimes... and sometimes sounds like the disgusting "squish squish" sound Slicker's mom makes whenever she walks

Which is stronger...?

Post by anarky »

...my love of Bruce Springsteen, Joe Perry, Chris Isaak, and Norah Jones, or my hatred for that scumsucking Toby Keith?

http://www.amazon.com/Elvis-Viva-Vegas- ... 072&sr=1-1

Ordinarily, those first four contributing to an album of Elvis covers makes something a no-brainer. But all those tracks look like they can only be downloaded (from any source) with the entire album. And half of it is Elvis tracks that I (or anyone else who likes the guy) already have.

Then there's shit by the likes of Daughtry. And the Joe Perry song has vocals by that ratbastard racist shithead.

Why do all these people who are clearly not racist keep recording stuff with this douchebag? Does he take off his white hood and wipe the goat semen off his chin long enough to pass as normal around them?

It's not that he's a racist that bothers me, though that certainly keeps me from supporting him in any way. But he's recorded collaborations with many great musicians, and they're not shooting off their mouths about how white people are God's chosen people and they need to stick their boots in people's asses because it's the American way. So what the fuck?

I hate that I have to skip a fucking track on two separate Willie Nelson albums. And, were I to get this, I'd have to skip a track by the great Mr Perry himself.

Fucking Hollywood.

I've never heard any of the racist stuff from him, but then again I stay away from country music.

The only interest I've ever had in Toby Keith is he is/was/maybe doing a song with Scott Weiland on Scott's 2nd solo album. The song itself it awesome - Scott did in solo way back in 2005 on Carson Daly's show - but I think it'll drop in quality with some of that hillbilly twang on it.

Oh shit, Daughtry is the some of the most terrible garbage that I have ever heard. I mean really. They need to experience a death in the band. And soon. Like the drummer should overdose on heroin and the lead singer should shoot himself in the head. And then the bass player should like slip and fall in the shower. And then all their roadies and groupies should die in a horrible rollercoaster accident. Daughtry makes me mad at Thomas Edison. Because Thomas Edison created lightbulbs, and Daughtry uses lightbulbs in their shows. So Thomas Edison is contributing to Daughtry's success. And that makes me angry.

But I'm not very familiar with the works of Toby Keith. He's racist? If his music were good, I wouldn't give a shit if he's racist either.

If Barry Gibb were like some horrible nazi and he liked to kick puppies, punch pregnant women, and murder my family, I would still listen to the Bee Gees. Because Barry Gibb can write a mean disco. But Toby Keith's music sucks a very large amount of sweaty boy rod so,Toby Keith can pretty much get crucified for all I care.

And Toby Keith thinks that white people are God's chosen people? HA! What a dumb fucking whore.
