Since it's "mature," Anakin fucks the shit out of Ahsoka and Padme numerous times in graphic detail.jjreason wrote:i was at Costco and noticed a "mature" novelization of the story! Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely
I saw this earlier in the week, but I didn't get the chance to post yet since I was without an internet connection for a goddamn week.
Man. "The Phantom Menace" is no longer the worst Star Wars movie. Hell, it's a stretch to even call it a Star Wars movie. The problem I had with Clone Wars was that it was a kid's movie. It wasn't anything like "Shrek" or the Pixar movies, where people of all ages can enjoy it. No. If you're over the age of 11, you will be checking your watch constantly throughout the course of the movie. The humor is stupid. They managed to make Ahsoka so annoying that she makes Jar Jar Binks look like Chewbacca. Every time she said "Artooie" I wanted to tear my hair out.
There were only a few things that I liked about the movie, and those were Captain Rex, Padme, and the Deuce cameo.
The thing that makes me laugh is that this movie came in third at the box office, behind "Tropic Thunder", an R-rated movie, and "The Dark Knight", which has been out for five weeks now. I hope Lucas takes the fucking hint and stops this whole thing before it gets run into the ground. Or maybe, just maybe, this whole thing was just Lucas's plot to release something so bad under the Star Wars name that it makes the prequels look better by comparison. Who knows...

I found out earlier that the Deuce makes not one, but TWO cameos in Clone Wars!

The Deuce in a bow tie?
That image may be too pimp for the internet.
Link, since the image doesn't seem to be showing up.
I told you it was pimp.

Thanks, I had read the first part of that. I think it's a safe pass. I'll just read the Jabba parts at Chapters the next time I'm in there.Diabolical wrote:A thread elsewhereabout it.jjreason wrote:i was at Costco and noticed a "mature" novelization of the story! Sadly, that couldn't even save the movie.Diabolical wrote:I found out earlier that the Deuce makes not one, but TWO cameos in Clone Wars!

Bite my ass-pubes, Grimlock.
As much as the Clone Wars movie turned me off, curiosity still seems to be getting the best of me with the show. I saw a commercial featuring a narration from Commander Cody that actually seemed a bit epic compared to the bad campiness of the movie's Jabba Jr. plotline. I plan on DVR'ing it next Friday just to give it a second chance. After all, what harm could it do?

I thought it was actually pretty funny.
And like you've never wished you could do that on the course.

not a big golfer, so it's not as personal.
