Funny, my wife's the opposite. Neither of us are exactly hardcore gamers, but we've bought a total of seven GameCube games since Black Friday due to various sales, and I've got two more for her for Christmas. I kinda suspect she's got the SW Lego game for me, and possibly even a PS2. (We've discussed getting a PS2 or PS3 when the new one comes out, but I wouldn't put it past her to get one early.)

No Battlefront I or II, though, since those assholes haven't ported it to the Cube yet. (I mean GameCube, not Ice Cube. Ice Cube is so fucking rich, I'm sure he has it on both PS2 and XBox. Maybe it will inspire him to drop some more mad rhymes, the likes of which he hasn't in a decade, and put some mad flava back into rap music.)

I always thought Ice Cube was the scariest nigga (can I say that?) in NWA. He yelled the loudest.

Mrs. CaptainSolo gave me BFII for my birthday. This game fuckin' rocks! The flying parts are quite difficult and it's pretty vague about what to do, but the ground campaigns more than make up for it. Does anyone know what the reprecussions are for skipping a space battle and choosing "attack" instead?

Now to go finish Mustafar.....

There are none. I skipped plenty of them. The best way to see your objectives is ot press select or start, it will list (them) Skip them, its better, but in Galactic Conquest, fly your ship into the enemies ship and blow it up from the inside out.

Thanks, dear[:X]

Those fuckin ARC gatling gunners are a motherfucker, dude. Straight ownage.

Boba Fett is pretty sweet. I like his one shot, one kill blaster. It's a nice change from the usual ammo dump it requires to take out a battle droid. I posted my thoughts on the other site.

Mrs. Chuxter will not allow me to buy this game. She states violence breeds violence and that if we ever have children, she doesnt want them to see such actions. I tend to agree with her.

Is anyone still playing this game? I unfortunately haven't played it on months. I just can't seem to get into video games anymore.

I play it once in a while. It is better than the first Battlefront, but it is missing some of my favorite levels, like both Bespin Levels.

I'm probably going to preorder Empire at War from B&N since I have a $25 gift certificate from them. RTS games tend to hold my interest longer.

I played it a lot last week for some reason, but now I'm finally getting into Tiger Woods 2006. I'm sure I'll get back to it in the near future.
