That next Yoda coming out is from the prequels, right? It would be nice if they put out a new ESB version. How many years has it been since the last one?

Yeah, it's technically a ROTS version, but it's coming on a ROTJ card (using an ESB image), assuming it doesn't get changed before it comes out. The last ESB Yoda was in 2004 - there were two released at more or less the same time: the cloth cloak one in the VOTC line, and the all-plastic one in OTC that split in half and could go in the backpack on Luke's back. I don't really know what else they could do with him.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Thanks. I got the backpack one, but didn't get the VOTC version. Kind of hoped they would re-release the VOTC version, being the anniversary and all.

I think it's dumb to put an ESB image on an ROTJ card...I understood them doing it 30 years ago but there's no reason to do it today.
Why don't they use an ROTJ image?

Because in Jedi Yoda was either laying in bed about to die, or a ghost.

I know he was bedridden all the time but they could have shown him snuggled up, a closeup of his head. That rascal.

Well, they used the same ESB image on the re-releases in the original line, so they're doing it again here. Though I really do hope they use a ROTS image and logo instead.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

I'm nitpicking, but the re-releases done in the 80s made sense because they were pimping the newest movie at that time. But I agree that a card with ROTS logo and pic would be tits. :D

That Target set with the cannons and Rebel Troopers is really quite tempting. But still $40. Hmmm....

All the new Geonosis sets look like ass. As in they look very cheap. I was disappointed; two of them I might've gotten if the Jedi didn't look so bad. Anakin (who I wasn't going to get anyway) was by far the worst. It's almost like they slapped a vintage head from 1980 on the body.

Got my Jabba today. Something odd about Jabba, but overall pretty nice set. I'm never doing the store pick-up ever again. Took those fuckers 15 or 20 minutes just to come to the service desk.

I like the Target Rebel set. K-3PO is a repainted build-a-droid. Didn't think I really needed another one, but this one has more articulation. I think the radar cannon-looking gun is bigger than the POTF2 version, but I haven't dug out the old one to compare them yet.

This'd be mostly for JJL, but I saw some 2009 Clone Wars figures at Big Lots today. I don't think there were any rare ones, though, and, at six bucks, they were hardly a deal. If you're missing someone, it might be worth checking.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm actually caught up on CW stuff (and have the last few red-and-white card waves, which a lot of people don't).

God, JabbaJohnL, your avatar has nice tits, but you still don't know a damned thing about Star Wars! I've been collecting since 1976! I've got every modern figure since 1989, and even have the vintge Yarna mint on card! Beat that!

And your avatar isn't nearly as nice too look at as my 100 Snowtroopers.
