A couple of must have X-characters (Havok, Kitty, and Cap Brit), a couple of Avengers rehashes (Ant Man and Thor), a cool-looking but turdly character (AOA Wolvie), and three that I'd rather wipe my butt with than buy (Warbird, AOA Sabretooth, Sentry--who the fuck is Sentry?). All in all another nice scam by ToyBiz to make me buy figures I don't want.

I think I'll start looking at buying body parts from people who don't want to build the gestalts.

Here is some more shots from Toyfair that weren't at TNI at least not the last time I logged in there.

Shocker! Avalanche! Rogue looks smokin' in her red Extreme X-Men outfit. Jigsaw? hell yeah! You know Toybiz is gettin at least halfway into the well, if they are makin' a Jigsaw Legend!!

Jack O' Lantern? That's one I definitely didn't see coming.

Sad to say, Power Man looks like shit. He's disproportionate, and the disco collar should be hella bigger.

And, really. How the fuck is Jigsaw more of a Legend than Jubilee? Ever see Jizzsaw on TV? How about on three TV series and two movies? I rest my motherfucking case. Even Larry Hama couldn't make Jigsaw not blow goats. The very premise of a recurring villain for a guy who makes a point to kill his enemies is fucking retarded.

Man, some of those are pretty damn sweet!
Looks like I'll be spending some good money on Marvel toys this year.

looking at figures.com, i see the hobgoblin is part of "the amazing spider-man" line, and the green goblin is part of the onslaught series of marvel legends. they look to be basically the same body, though - they look to be the same scale. unfortunately all the pics of spidey looked like ass. hopefully there's a good spidey in that line.

Gads, who actually buys the Spideys in the Spider-Man line anymore? The last one I got was the McFarlane Spidey about six waves ago. Aqua Jumping Jack Spider-Man and Spinning Trash Can Lid Camoflage Spider-Man are for the kiddies.

Now that Alpha Flight is dead, can we get a box set or something? It worked for Hawkeye and Vision....

There is a Shark Armor Spidey on the pegs now. Swear to God. I almost pissed myself when I saw it. He even comes with a goofy shark. This proves Batman isn't the only superhero to be prepared for unexpected shark attacks while fighting crime.

BTW, total 180, but I scored an extra Scarlett Witch last night. Excellent condition, but a shitty looking figure (all the ones I've seen look like she has chicken pox) and a K-Mart price sticker on the clamshell. Anyone need this bimbo? I'd rather see one of y'all get her than have her wind up on Plumber Bob's eBay auction.

Yeah, Wanda only looks good when you've got her at the back of the Avengers crowd. She's Ice Skater cute. Looks good from a distance, but up close she's fugly.

Just heard some fucking bad news: apparently, to build Giant Man, you'll have to buy at least one variant.

And was no one interested in the extra Wanda?

No thanks, ebay away Chux. I've been really limiting myself lately - but I did get Iron Fist and Maestro yesterday. Almost bought Wolvie too (love that costume) but he didn't quite do it for me.

jj buddy, I was sick to death of all the goddamn Wolvies, but that one is the BEST ONE. I shit you not. I wish they'd make the rest of the Astonishing X-Men to go with him....

Found some of the Apocalypse series tonight - Sasquatch, Iron Fist, and Wolverine.
Picked of Wolvie. Even though I love the brown costume more, thisone still looks pretty good.
But why the rubber claws? WHY? I understand because it would be too sharp for kids, but even a little sturdier plastic would be nice.
