That looks like a very solid set. I noticed a few of the cooler comic packs figures, and a couple of multipack guys. And the accessories look like they're mostly there (though some are misplaced; I saw a Beach Head displayed with Scarlett's crossbow). Definitely looks worth bidding on if you don't have 'em.

The Pit Commando is a frickin' sweet figure, partly because he's an accessory pack with a figure tossed in. :)

What's with all the loose Crazylegses in lots, though?

Funny how Crazylegs keeps ending up in those lots. If I win one, I'll send him your way. Bazooka, Flash, and Mutt seem to show up a lot, too.

Here is a strange lot. 25th Anniversary, ROC, pre-25th, some Star Wars, and who knows what else.

I know it's been mentioned somewhere, but I can't remember where. Anyway, when I was talking to Derryl a few days ago, another guy came up and asked something or other about GI Joe. I asked him if it was true that Paramount only told Hasbro an hour before they told the public; his expression was extremely annoyed and he said they'd only given them half an hour. Fuck.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

I read about that somewhere. That's pretty messed up. Other than the first wave of figures & vehicles, the rest of the line was pushed back until after the movie is released. Of course most of the cool stuff was in the later waves.

There were a lot of complaints that Hasbro took a lot of articulation away from some of the figures, especially the figures that came with vehicles. Some of them were down to 5 points. That's less than the original line has in 1983.

Suck my fat nuts. :D

JJL, not only did they find out about a half-hour before the announcement, but the figures had been shipped to stores and the street date was less than a week away. It was a clusterfuck extraordinaire.

I knew about the rest of the clusterfuck; I just thought Derryl's reaction was pretty funny.

I thought this was funny. The custom, as well as the people praising it.

When did Sergeant Slaughter get crossed with giraffe DNA? That figure would look decent except for the laughably long neck. Covering it up doesn't hide that it's a neck that would make Rob Liefeld say, "Damn, that's some bad anatomy."

I guess the guy who posted it must be someone everyone on that forum loves, because it's mind-boggling that no one's pointed this out yet.

Sgt. Slaughter may be a professional wrestler, but he has never been that buff in his entire life.

Stopped in a Walgreens today. They had a POC Cobra Commander. I already have it, so I didn't buy it. Just mentioning it because I never thought I'd see that figure on a store peg again.

Sounds like I need to start hitting Walgreens with more of a vengeance. :)

TRU had a metric fuckton of earlier Pursuit of Cobra stuff again today, including Alley Viper, Firefly, and Shock Troopers. I hope this means the POC stuff is still in the pipeline.
