Re: Step Brothers
I saw this tonight. Funny stuff. Definitely way funnier than "Talladega Nights", and I enjoyed that for the most part. John C. Reilly ends up stealing the show a lot. I'm not going to spoil any funny scenes for you guys, but the job interview scenes were hilarious as well as the ongoing bantering between Ferrell and his (biological) little brother. As another side note, there were a bunch of kids (under the age of 10, I'd say) in the theater even though it was an R rated movie. What the fuck?!
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.

I really wanted to see this movie. The preview for it looked utterly hilarious.

My sister and good friend both saw it and said it was okay but not great. I still want to see it, though.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Re: Step Brothers
I saw it earlier tonight. Very funny with a good number of quotable lines.
Reilly and Ferrell are so good together it almost made me want to watch Talladega Nights again - almost.
My wife even liked it and she claims she doesn't like Will Ferrell (even though this is third or fourth movie of his she's liked).

Re: Step Brothers
I've watched this movie at least 5 times. Fucking HILARIOUS. It's just as quotable as any Will Ferrell movie.
BTW, I liked Talledega Nights...

Re: Step Brothers
I watched this for the first time a few days ago, hilarious indeed.
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

Fuck, the "Boats n' Hoes" video is hilarious. "Every time I cum, I produce a QUART!"

Re: Step Brothers
No Anchorman topic, so I'm dumping this here.
They have spend an excessive amount of time over the past 4 months advertising Anchorman 2. The Dodge commercials, Ron Burgundy showing up on random newscasts, plus the actual commercials. It just seems like they know it is going to suck. Either that, it will be so over-hyped it won't live up to people's expectations.

Re: Step Brothers
It couldn't. People get so worked up over sequels to "iconic" movies (not that Anchorman is iconic, but it certainly was quotable & the character is quite memorable). I'm going to go & see it anyhow, because Ron Burgundy on his own makes me laugh, I don't care what he says or does, just Will Ferrell acting serious dressed like that makes me piss myself.
