I don't know what the odds were on Pietro being the first merger between the Fox & MCU universes, but I bet they were pretty low!

Also don't forget that Monica mentions an aerospace engineer. It's pretty blatant, and also blatant that this character isn't named. Definitely a major player they want to reveal later. Since we have three of the four big Marvel scientists are already in the MCU, is it a stretch to think this person might be fantastic?

I think it will be Reed & they'll let that slow burn for awhile. There are so many things I'd like to see - Patrick Stewart & Hugh Jackman particularly - but what I DON'T want to see is limp, neutered Deadpool. I hope they can resist the urge to overuse him & do their best to keep that R rated lightning in a bottle.

I think Ryan Reynolds and/or Kevin Feige recently confirmed that Deadpool 3 will be R-Rated.

And after this episode (and those Spider-Man rumors), I think they'll get some more X-Men actors to at least cameo in a Multiverse story somehow.

I think PG-13 Deadpool in someone else's movie or show would work.

His own movies need to stay R, though.

I was more excited to see Monica get her powers than I was from the reveal that Agnes was Agatha Harkness the whole time. Mostly because fans have been speculating that the entire time, and also because that person in the comics was never really a villain from what I remember.
Will there be an even twistier twist later on?

Yeah, the reveal wasn't a shock for the same reasons (it's also a fairly deep dive character).

I actually had to look her up. The way they played it up, hitting us over the head with the fact that this was the "big reveal" makes me suspicious this wasn't the big reveal. Still expecting Mephisto at some point. And I'm liking Monica more & more as well - but the scene with her facing off with Wanda & getting all shiny-eyes looked more like Agents of SHIELD level effects quality than MCU.

The astrophysicist is going to be Adam Brashear aka Blue Marvel.
There’s no way they’re introducing Reed Richards on WandaVision and not on the big screen. The FF might show up in someone else’s movie first to Tee up their movie, but they’re not gonna cast an A-lister for Reed in time to make a cameo on a TV show.
