That's a lot. Mine won't even be close to that, and I thought I was the whore here! I will be getting 7 of your 13, and likely some other things (I don't know what else is due out). Nice stack, Vyn!

Yeah I know what ya meanand all. I stopped collecting around the time they came out with double titles. 2 X-Men a month and so on. Toome it was all about sucking cash out of little kids and shit. Not down with that. I do like the new look of comics, art work and all, but I just cant get into it too much.

As for the SW, I have been buying vintage stuff on Ebay. I cant find new stuff for the life of Brian. I am more excited about the vintage stuff anyways. Anyone got an EwokVillage for sale. COmplete. No box necessary.

Yeah I got one, too, but not that I'm gonna sell to anyone. [:)]

Just got me Amazing Spider-Man 30-54 in the mail. Rule! Issue 36 still gets me choked up almost two years later. Especially the Captain America part. Damn. I also really liked the silent issue. I will sit down tomorrow for a proper read thru of all of them.

Daredevil. I really dig how they turned Foggy from the fat, clueless sidekick into a real strong character. Almost Matt's conscience at times. Very cool.

The Amazing run is pretty good. Very Peter and MJ focused. I like Peter teaching as well, though it's kind of been put on the back burner. No mention of the Bugle for ages. Weird how MJ isn't being dealt with at all over in Sensational, and Pete's still living in the building with the fat guy and the blondie across the way. I don't know if that's where he lives in Amazing or not?

I don't read them other Spidey books, so I don't know. But speaking of Amazing, just got 498 today. WOW! Pulling out all the stops for Spidey's 500th! Petey has to stop mid MJ shagathon (lucky devil) to go hang out with the Avengers AND the FF AND Dr. Strange. But enough of that. Lets also think about how MJ leaned out the window to look at the red lightning WITH NO CLOTHES ON. Hotcha!! I'd love to live across the way from Pete's place. Now that I think of it, how come nobody ever notices Spidey climbing in and out of Pete's windows? That's like a national pastime in NYC, watching your neighbors windows. In all of 40 years and a dozen monthly titles, NOBODY has ever seen him?? Bullshit.

Okay, No-Prize time for JJ....

Spidey has caught and killed every person that's ever seen him come out of the window dressed.

Are you happy now?

Caught up on all my JMS Spidey run. The Peter/MJ stuff was great. What an interesting dynamic to have them on the outs. That must have been excrutiating for fans, month in and month out wondering if they would get back together, but having read it all in one one lump, I would have liked to see it play out a little longer. I also like that now that May knows, all three of them sitting around the kitchen table discussing Spider-Man and Peter gets double teamed ( not that way, you sickos) by the two women in his life. The Super Hero equivalent of Wear fresh underwear... tee hee.

JLA/Avengers today. Busiek has a reaaly cool angle on the different teams' perspectives of the others universes. The grim and gritty Marvel Universe vs the clean and sparkling DC universe. Batman beating up on the Punisher for twenty minutes ( and not a panel of it shown...sigh). Hawkeye's quip about the Squadron Supreme knock-offs was priceless.

The art I saw for the preview in Wizard was amazing. I think I'll spring for a copy of this as well.

Let's see what the old comic pile had in it this week, shall we?

16022. This is shaping up just fine. I didn't really dig the X-Men costumes. Not very 15th century in my opinion. I think this will read better as a whole, then issue by issue.

Supreme Power 2. The origins continue. Mark checking out the girls bathroom with his X-Ray vision? Classic. I can't wait for the team to assemble. But then I realized Squadron Supreme desn't really have a defining villain like Magneto or Lex Luthor. Will JMS "alter" a classic JLA villain for them to fight?

Hulk 60. Ooh! Deodato! hooray!!! Why does it say 1 of 5 on the cover and 1 of 6 on the interior? In any case, this looks awesome! Those of you who skipped that stinky Hide in Plain Sight Absorbing Man story arc can safely return now. I'm just a tad confused...there are THREE laptops? Bruce has one. Nadia and the other lady have one. And Doc Sampson and Sandra Verdugo have one. I only thought there were two. Mr Green(Bruce) and Mr Blue(who I assumed was the secret agent lady who will probably turn out to be Betty Banner since everyone else is coming back from the dead: See recent issues of New X-Men, Teen Titans, New X-Men, Batman, and ohhh...New X-Men)

I finally got JLA/Avengers. Pretty dadburnt cool!

"Obviously these heroes rule the world with an iron fist!"

Nice to see the Marvel/DC crossover either isn't canon, or isn't remembered by the heroes.

So, uh, if Qward is destroyed, and with it the entire Anti-Matter Universe, how does that affect physics in the DCU?

And as if we needed a reminder: DC artifacts are cooler than Marvel artifacts. How lame is a stupid trigger that ends all existence?
