Ted 2. If you like Seth McFarlane you'll love this. If you hate him, skip it. I was laughing throughout.
Michael Dorn and Patrick Warburton as a gay couple dressed as Worf and The Tick beating up nerds at comic-con should be reason enough for you to go. But it also has Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.
Hilarious.

Started Collateral, which I believe was the Michael Mann movie directly following Heat. So far (40 minutes in) it is absolutely fucking terrible. Maybe it will pick up.

Jurassic World - i thought it was great, my wife hated it. i have to say the idea that a fully functional version of hammond's dream is an interesting starting-off point.
Magic Mike XXL - it was entertaining. stupid, but entertaining. i was the only guy in the theater. the girl behind the ticket window and multiple women in the theater gave me props for going with my wife. she tried to get her friends to go but no one would, the lamewads, so i told her i would.

Jurassic World - I thought it was terrible. Even the dinos fighting wasn't enough to redeem it for me, mainly because my eyes had rolled completely back into my head from the dialogue. It did make me want to go back & read the 2 books though.

The Angriest Man in Brooklyn - Dr. Mila Kunis tells asshole Robin Williams he has 90 minutes left to live. Meh. Peter Dinklage is Williams' brother.
Primer - Acclaimed micro budget sci-fi flick that doesn't dumb anything down. Good ideas, bad acting.
Cashback - Took me a minute to remember what the fuck this was. British flick that has no idea what type of movie it wants to be. There was some great nudity though.
Ted 2 - Really funny if you like Seth McFarlane humor.
Wet Hot American Summer - Been on my Netflix queue forever. The upcoming series made me give it a watch. Funny shit with a lot of now famous people.
Terminator Genisys - Not bad, not great.
Joe Dirt - the awfulsome classic.
Independence Day - "Welcome to Erf."
Inside Out - Overrated Pixar flick, but still good.
Despicable Me - Fucking love those minion bastards.
Ex Machina - Great sci-fi flick about AI.
Ant-Man - Marvel does it again.
Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser - The Crackle sequel. Not very good, but I did laugh a few times, especially in the scene about Joe's balls.

Superman:Man of Steel. I didn't find it as bad as I was expecting, though the angst was off the charts as described. The opening was well done & got me on board I have to say. By the end it felt very, very long (and at well over 2hrs, it was long). I would lump this in with Transformers 1 and New Star Trek's 1 & 2 - good enough for me because I don't really care about the properties enough to get mad about the negatives.

I'll have to watch Despicable Me sometime. I hear good things about the first, but see the Minions out of context so often on Facebook, it kinda kills the desire to watch it.

Actual minions are funny.
Meme minions are the worst things to happen to the Internet since bitstrips.

Chux - Despicable Me is in the same league of kids movies as How to Train Your Dragon - and you remember how much we laughed at you when you finally watched that one.

I actually checked them both out from the library earlier. One of the kids is being a shit right now so we'll probably not watch until tomorrow.

Holy shit. I saw most of Despicable Me not too long ago. That means I saw a kids movie before anarky.

Re: What have you watched lately?
Pixels. Ugh. What a hot mess and a waste of a fun premise for a flick. The first half of the film is taken up by expository bullshit that the trailer explained in ten seconds. None of the main characters are likable. Who the fuck elected Kevin James' dopey ass character president? Brian Cox and Sean Bean just look embarrassed to be in the movie. Sandler must have compromising photos of Michelle Monaghan strumming her own guitar and blackmailed her into the film. I laughed about ten times throughout the entire film.

Re: What have you watched lately?
Kids today have never lived in a world where Adam Sandler is funny. If you tell them Billy Madison is one of the funniest movies ever, they'll assume you're retarded.
