Are you sure one of them isn't the 2004 version?

They both are on the vintage card, and I'm fairly certain they both say ESB. I'll have to check to see if one of them is the 2004 version. Neither of them had the plastic shell.

I've picked up a few various Clone Wars figures for Anarky Jr. I really wish they'd put this level of effort into every realistic SW figure. I've yet to see one who's anything short of awesome.

Yeah when I buy SW for Tom he usually gets CW stuff now. I find them "neat", but they're about as disposable to me as his bakugons or anything else of his I might play with for 30 seconds - I have no affinity for them, even if it's a core character.

Clone Wars are about all I see anymore. At least that I've not been seeing for a year now (looking at you, 4-LOM).

Well we're not that bad off - anyone even remotely trying has a near-full run of vintage figures through the ROTJ wave, and with a bit of luck at least most of the AOTC wave. The issue is this - we've been advised by Hasbro Canada that the next 2 waves just won't be here period and that things will resume with wave 7 in September or so.... so I'm relying on my brother in Minnesota & specialty shops (and I'm hoping NOT, but likely will have to include ebay on that list) for the other wave 5 & 6 figures I'd like to have. So far I've got the "after party" Han with the medal, unbuttoned shirt and messy hair, but that's it.

Looks like I'll be getting 8 or 9 figures between March and August...2 skiff guards, the ewok, Dr. Evazan, Walrusman, Bom Vimdin, Hoth Trooper, & Rebel Fleet trooper. I'm on the fence with the Bespin Han, but I'll probably end up getting him. He comes with welding stuff?

Its about time they updated Dr. Evazan and Walrusman.
There has been such a drought in SW figures for me, I had to search this thread to remember what I was looking for. I even had to go to RS to figure out what skiff guards I was talking about. Is there going to be 3 or so waves between now and August? I've lost track of wave #'s. By Skiff guards, I'm assuming I meant the Weequay and Kithaba and by Ewok I meant Logray. (Quite honestly, the only Ewok I have ever known by name was Wicket.) So basically I'm still waiting on the 9 figures I was waiting for back when they were announced in February. Actually, make that 10 since I forgot about Wedge. Maybe I will skip Wedge since I got one with that X-Wing from Target. This crap gets confusing when you don't pay attention to it for a few months.

By the way, when I was at Walmart earlier, they had the Legends figures on clearance for $5. Tons of Clones. I thought about getting the Snowtrooper, but decided against it. Also considered Hoth Han. He is a re-release, right?

When will we see new Star Wars figures?

Fucked if I know.

I believe all the Saga Legends are re-releases, though I'm not sure which Hoth Han you get. It's got a blue coat, that much I know from having gimpsed it a few times on the pegs.

There's currently three waves shipping (or not, depending on where you are): wave 4, which is AOTC; wave 5, which is the kitbash figures from mostly ANH and ROTS; and wave 6, which has figures from every movie except TPM and ANH (including General Lando, the new AOTC clone, and so on). Wave 7 is the one with Logray, Barriss, and Bespin Han, among others, and no one's seen it yet. I think there must be some kind of backlog at the warehouses due to all the shit still clogging the pegs. I've started seeing Walmarts blacking out the "Free Boba Fett" stickers since they expired a few months ago.

The Hoth Han is a re-release of the one from the 2008 Hoth Recon Patrol battle pack, which was a repaint of the one from the Droid Factory 2-pack, which was a retool from the 2007 Vintage figure. This one is mostly brown with a slight blue wash. It's the best hood-up Hoth Han in the line, though he can't really move his legs.

Thanks for clearing that up. Looks like Weequay is the only one I want from Wave 6.

I have the 2007 Vintage figure, but didn't the Hoth Battle pack (although I wanted that R5). If I would have seen it at Ross, I would have bought it. They had other battle packs for around $12 before Christmas.

I finally found Padmé from wave 4 today, along with the newest Clone Wars wave, so I'm all caught up aside from the variant wave 6 stormtrooper with the better helmet.

As a reminder to anyone who was looking for the new Target three-packs (including the one with the '90stastic Deuce), they're popping up here and there right now but are officially supposed to be released this Sunday. I'm still undecided on these as I don't feel like dropping $60 just for the packaging as I don't need any of the figures. I only got the first nine-pack since it was on clearance to half off, so I don't know if I want to keep getting these.

I forgot about those 3 packs but they are a clearance only purchase for me.

Actually saw some figures today. The WM had Weequay, Fi-Ek Sirch, Gloveless Luke, Senate Guard, and General Lando.

The Lando is actually a major step down from the previous one. The head is awful.

Gloveless Luke, well, $9 ain't worth the same damn figure without gloves.

I had Weequay, Fi-Ek, and a Senate Guard in hand. Until I realized the only Weequay they had was opened, and looked to be missing his weapons. I put him back. The other two seemed far less interesting.

Went next door to Ross, saw (and passed on) one of the comic packs (two Rogue Squadron aliens) for $5.99, and picked up two MARS Trooper sets when I saw they were on clearance. May want to check your Rosses, Ran; they're movie figures, but essentially realistically-styled Cobra Troopers.
