I received two issues of gay robot porn today in the mail! (Thanks, DB!)
Haven't read them yet, but I'm totally geeking out that Overdrive is on the cover of #88.

No problem. I would've had 'em out sooner, but I got sick for a few days.
And I was going to draw robot penises all over the covers but I forgot.

Only eight issues this week. One First issue, one final issue.
Age of Apocalypse 14. FINAL ISSUE. Part of the X-Termination crossover. Last issue of the series, but not of the event. Didn't read it yet.
Age of Ultron 4. That crappy plan reaches its inevitable conclusion. SheHulk and Luke Cage die. The rest of the heroes regroup in the Savage Land. Next crappy plan: Go and fight Ultron in the future.
GIJoe Special Missions 2. The battle to recover the stolen submerged gold continues.
Superior Otto 7. Cardiac and Otto get into a fight. The Avengers call Otto in for an intervention. Otto decides to throw down against his teammates.
Thanos Rising 1. FIRST ISSUE. Thanos gets a boner, hence the title. Naww, I'm kidding. The origin of Thanos. Turns out he's been wearing the same costume since he was five years old. That'd turn me into a maniacal genocidal demigod also.
TF Spotlight: Trailbreaker. Yeah yeah, the cover says 'Trailcutter' but it's about Trailbreaker. Thankless TB saves the Lost Lighters from Lockdown and a bunch of other 'cons(the deluxe Insecticons again!) who are trying to steal Metroplex leftovers. Basically issue 5.5 of MTMTE.
Winter Soldier 17. Bucky finds the Electric Ghost on a stolen SHIELD satellite. She shoots him. Then she realizes he's the guy that killed her dad. Oops.
All New X-Men 10. Cyclops pitches his new Xavier school to the Logan school's students. There's a tense standoff between the two X-Factions. Mystique, Sabretooth, and Lady Mastermind cause trouble.

All-New X-Men #10 - I loved it when Krokoa showed up. I can't believe how consistently great this book is.
Batman: Detective Comics #19 - AKA #900. Took 10 minutes to read 80 pages of interconnected Man-Bat, Bane and Penguin stories. And it was $7.99. Assholes.
Deadpool #07 - Holy shit, this was a great issue. I've never seen a better excuse for a fill-in story - Marvel had this story laying around since the early 80's, so here it is, because putting out an issue twice a month is hard. Total 80's style artwork, timeline and jokes. DP steal Flash Thompson's illegally parked car, almost runs over Power Pack and makes a deal with the devil to get Iron Man drunk. And it explains why DP doesn't show up for almost a decade.
Fatale #13 - Missed it last week.

Fudge. I debated getting Deadpool and then didn't. Hopefully it'll be there next week.

Yeah, you should've.
There are a ton of 80s era jokes. I caught a bunch but I'm sure I missed a bunch too.
I actually laughed a few times while reading it which doesn't happen often.

More Than Meets the Eye, Vol. 3.
No shit, I would have to recommend this book (and the companion series, Robots in Disguise) to all of you. Rollo will back me up here, I'm sure. This book is fucking phenomenal. It helps to know (or care about) the characters, but it's not entirely necessary; even if you've lived under a rock for the last thirty years, you can't help but have absorbed enough to get the basics (even if you don't get all the inside jokes and Easter eggs). This is high-class science fiction in comic book form, which just happens to be based on toys you probably played with as a kid.

Batgirl #19 - Babs has her final face off with her brother (she kinda kills him). Also, her roommate is transgender.
Batman #19 - Bats hunts Clayface. Mediocre issue from the typically good main Bat-title.
Batman and Red Robin #19 - Bats flips out and tries to force Frankenstein to help him revive Damian. Tim steps in and blows up the lab. Carrie Kelly shows up, in what is hopefully just a fun, one-time appearance (but probably not).
Hawkeye #9 - The ladies in Hawkguy's life step in and attempt to help. Poor Grills...
Rocketeer: Hollywood Horror #3 - Cliff, sans rocket, makes do and goes to save Betty.
Secret Avengers #3 - AIM steals the Iron Patroit armor and zzz... Done.
Star Wars #4 - The Empire is still getting the drop on the Alliance, pissing Leia off.
Transformers: Regeneration One #90 - Transformer jizz is motor oil? Ya learn somethin' new every day.
Uncanny Avengers #6 - Thor battles Apocalypse 1,000 years ago.
Uncanny X-Men #4 - A parallel to All-New X-Men #10. The Cuckoos and the original Angel joined Cyclops. The other new students get acclimated to the school.
"Goldballs is a bad mutant name."

So apparently both Avengers 8 AND 9 came out today. I assumed 8 was last months issue just reordered so I only got 9. And also my AU1 oneshot's back cover was all rent to shit. Those being the first two issues I attempted, I was disgusted and didn't read anything yet. I don't like reading comics in a peevish mood because I won't give them a fair reading. Maybe tomorrow.

Wha...? Kills?

Wha...? How is that even fucking possible? She shouldn't be born yet, should she?
Transformers: Regeneration One #90 - Transformer jizz is motor oil? Ya learn somethin' new every day.
Clearly, you weren't paying attention. Transformer jizz is nucleon. When they cum all over one another, it makes them sticky and unable to transform, which is where the Action Masters come from.
Uncanny Avengers #6 - Thor battles Apocalypse 1,000 years ago.
Doesn't a major present-day hero having a run-in with such a colossal badass evil mutant so long ago open up a massive can of worms regarding all his prior appearances?

This is the New52. Where shit doesn't matter anymore. And jumping sharks is de riguer.

I heard apple dropped this issue because of all the gay robot porn in it.
Uncanny Avengers #6 - Thor battles Apocalypse 1,000 years ago.

Apocalypse? Why. He's been around for 3000 years.
And why would Thor remember some douche he fought in 1000 AD? He's probably fought like a million douches since then.
The real travesty here is that Remender is still working.

I'm just saying, when Apocalypse first (real world) showed up in the early pages of X-Factor, wouldn't somehow the word get passed along that he's a bad mofo. Thor might not remember everyone, but a super-duper-powered mutant with insane technology and an Egyptian fetish, circa the year 1000, sounds like something that would stand out. If nothing else, once he became a mainstream villain (circa 1989 or thereabouts, real time), you'd think Thor would just mention to someone "Oh yeah, I total"-- ... I mean, "Yea, verily forsooth I didst pumelleth yon mutant miscreant which weareth ye olde purple. He doth be old, yea, older than the way I doth talkest."

She hits him in the face with a batarang, he falls backward (snapping his spine on a railing) then plummets over the railing into the rocky waters below. So...kinda.

Born, shmorn, she's apparently in college. She has an apartment and a Gotham City Community College (G.C.C.C.) hoodie.
She was giving Damien lessons in...something that isn't entirely clear and when he stopped showing up, she heads to Wayne Manor to see why but nobody answers the door. Bruce later settles Damien's debt to Carrie and stops by her apartment, where she's having a costume party (guess who she's dressed as?).

12 books this week. One first issue and one final issue. And one oneshot with a messed up back cover. Grrrrr.
Age of Ultron 5. What's left of the heroes find Nick Fury Sr. in the Savage Land and decide to go BACK in time to talk Hank Pym out of ever building Ultron. Wolverine decides that ain't enough and heads back to KILL Pym.
Avengers Assemble 14AU. Black Widow's tale of how she survive Ultron's initial onslaught of San Francisco and how her face got fucked up.
Ultron 1AU oneshot. Victor Mancha, son of Ultron and former Runaway survives in L.A. with orphaned children after Ultron's decimation.
Avengers 9. Missing 8. Didn't read it yet.
Fantastic Four 6. The FF travel back so the kids can witness the big bang. They find interstellar villain Blastaar strapped to an asteroid waiting to die and stupidly free him so he can go about wrecking their spacetimecraft and trying to kill them.
GIJoe Cobra Files 1. Chameleon was Cobra. Now she's Joe. Deftly brings new readers up to speed on the previous 44 issues. Copperhead gets shot in the face. Billy wakes up from his coma.
Hawkguy 9. The many women in Clint's life Natasha the Work Wife, Bobbi the ex-wife, Jessica the friend girl, and Kate. And also the redhead he banged a few issues ago. Poor Grills.
Avenging Otto 19. Otto and Sleepwalker fight nasty dreamworms. Sleepwalker!! Yay!!
Transformers ReGenOne 90. The Earth Autobots get back to Cybertron. The Grimlock/Scorponok feud ends. Permanently.
Wolverine 2. Logan is trying to figure the alien gun thing with help from Marcus Johnson(aka the black Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD). Uatu shows up on the last page.
Uncanny X-Men 4. The flip side of ANXM from last week. Like what Diabolical said.
XTreme X-Men 13. FINAL ISSUE. Part of the X-Termination crossover. Didn't read it.

That seems in incredibly poor taste on her part considering he was violently murdered a few days prior. That's like having a costume party where we all dress up as our favorite Sandy Hook victim.
