Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
I thought from DB's description that she was training Damian, not Robin. How would a civilian now Robin was killed?
Gawd, the last few words of your RG1 writeup are going to make it tough to wait for. I'm going to call it now: if Grimlock is offed, time travel will be involved to fix the entire timestream in issue 100. That would be too much shit hitting the fan, with the Earth destroyed, Megatron dead, one of Furman's faves (Starscream) a semi-vegetable and the other (Grimlock) getting killed.

It doesn't look like she was training him, but he was getting lessons from her in something.
And I'm not sure if Robin's death is public knowledge yet.

Daredevil #25 - Someone has replicated the accident that gave DD his powers and given them to Ikari, a Japanese version of DD, who has all of DD's powers except he can see.
Daredevil: End of Days #7 - Urich's investigation leads him to the Hand, The Punisher and the new DD, who's identity is revealed.
Nightwing #19 - Dick settles into Chicago and instantly makes friends with the cops (not really, just the opposite). Prankster shows up too.
Thunderbolts #8 - The Thunderbolts buts up a mysterious meeting or some kind. The jealous Deadpool tries to kill "Punisher" but Elektra shoots DP in the head.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
A whopping 15 books this week. And for the first time in a VERY long time, NO First Issues. I know. Shocking.
Age of Ultron 6. While the dumb team headed to the future, Wolverine and Sue Storm head to the past to confront Hank Pym. Wolverine slices open Hank's throat and kills him!!! I have decided te reason Marvel double ships these Event books now is because the Retailer will have already ordered a majority of the issues before the first one hits stands. So if it sucks, or is mediocre, it's too late because the other issues are already on their way.
WaX-Men 27AU. Another AU tie in. It's the story of how Logan and Sue got from the Savage Land to Pym's lab in the past. Along the way, Logan ignore the Butterfly Effect principle and "saves" a alien from the SHIELD meanies holding it. Turns out its a Brood, which attacks and spawns out of Wolverine. The reason Brood are notoriously nasty and hard to kill is because they have Logan's DNA in them. Way to go, dumbass!
Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures 7. Yay! AR is back! Well not really. RSA changes up its format. Instead of short vignettes, MCP style, this is a full length multi part story set in 1893 with Tesla and Westimghouse and that proto-science adventure team.
Avengers 8. Now I can back and read 8 and 9. Which I haven't done yet.
Dark Avengers 189. The penultimate issue. The Dark Avengers are still trapped in the alt universe. They kill the evil Dr. Strange and get ready to beat evil Iron Man and evil Thing ass.
Daredevil 25. DD fights ("fights" isn't exactly right, he gets a beat down) Ikari (see Diabol's summary above). The big bad pulling the strings remains a mystery. Damn, this book is good.
Daredevil: End of Days 7. Urich's search of answers hits a snag when he gets a Hand Ninja arrow in the chest. The new DD takes off his mask. Say whaa?? Futs, now I'm gonna have to go back a read the first issues again.
GIJoe ARAH 189. An exciting and intense battle as the Joes try to rescue Dr. Burkhart from the Black Major aboard a ship in a storm. Great fun read!
Iron Man 8. Tony Stark vs Death's Head!! Make your death quick, yes? Then the Celestials show up and kill all the aliens. I'm assuming DH got out okay.
Superior Otto 8. The Avengers give Otto a brainscan, thinking he's a Skrull. But he uses the diagnostic to figure out Peter is still in his head.
Transformers RID 16. The epic battle for Cybertron is over. One Robot is in charge. Is it Megatron? Starscream? Metalhawk? Bumblebee? Prowl? Someone else? Hint, he's wearing a crown on the last page. Staggering.
X-Factor 254. Hell on Earth War continues. The Hell Lords continue to pick each other off. X-Factor deals with infighting over whether Rahne's son should fulfill his destiny as a killer.
Astonishing X-Men 61. Part of the X-Termination event. Didn't read it yet.
Also got a couple of issues out of the $1 bin. An issue of the NOW X-Men Legacy book starring Legion, and a Rawhide Kid issue.

Latest volumes of Cobra and Robots in Disguise (which goes up through 11, so I'm five issues behind).
Rollo, me and you gonna have to have a little talk about RiD later. Maybe it's reading it in chunks with a delay in the middle, but I need to clarify a few things. Okay, many things.

Can't spoil RID, but the answer to your quandary is most likely
A. They're not really dead. Or
B. He's a filthy traitor.
When's the third TPB come out?

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
This was the third. Not sure about the fourth, but I figure probably around August. (Edit: Amazon says October 10, which seems a bit odd since MTME Vol. 4 comes out in late July, and RiD hasn't been that far behind it thus far.)
The last page is a full-page splash of Megatron walking in from the wastes. Not quite to the quandaries you posted, though I figure A) I know you've got to be talking about some lime green guys with purple accents, and B) someone is going to play directly into Bumblebee's motto ("The least likely can be the most dangerous"). I've got a hunch on B, though I'm not absolutely sure and don't want spoilers. Suffice to say it would involve plots within plots within plots, and a major shift in the guy's thinking from the past few million years.

They've only collected 11 issues in 3 Trades? What kind of fuckin' scam is that??

Closer to 13. The annual's in there, and it's double-sized. I thought "The Death of Optimus Prime" was in Volume 1, but it's in MTME Vol. 1.
Still, they are much cheaper than Marvel's or DC's collections. And getting them from Amazon usually means they're about $10-12.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
Just found out there's another comic shop nearby (well, about a half-hour away) that opened up last year. I saw a post from Free Comic Book Day on FB, and someone mentioned going there. They appear to do all their online interaction via Facebook, but the owner appears to be fairly cool and not anti-kid from the FB posts.
Granted, the place might suck ass, but it would be nice to again have a comic shop I can drive to (maybe not weekly, given the distance) and not be ignored or treated like some idiot who knows jackshit about comics because I have proof with me that I had sex with a girl at least once (and sometimes twice).

Plus, if he's a new store, he'll be accommodating of potential return customers.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
Another dozen issues. And still no First Issues.
Avengers 10. The first and last appearance of the brand new Omega Flight! Canada sends its super team into the Regina, Saskatchewan quarantine site. Where they all promptly get killed. Forcing the Avengers to come clean up the mess.
New Avengers 5. We get the origin of Black Swan and she explains another Incursion is minutes away from happening...in Latveria. I swear, Hickman is spoiling us with awesome and ruining Avengers for whatever poor bastard follows his run.
Young Avengers 4. Kid Loki convinces Wiccan to lend him his powers for ten minutes to fight the evil Parental Army. Great, great, great stuff. "Let's go save the world from us!"
Fantastic Four 7. The FF travel from the Big Bang to the Big Crunch and rescue Blastaar so they don't have to fight him last issue. Ben finds out he's being affected like Reed.
FF 6. The Yancy Streeters are tormenting Darla because they think she thinks she's replacing Ben in the FF. Scott handles them. Tong decides she is a she and wears a dress. Good for her.
Gambit 11. Rogue and Joelle get in a fight. Joelle steal Rogue's Quinjet. Rogue and Remy fight Tombstone's thugs. Tombstone finds Joelle and slices her throat.
GIJoe 3. Baroness and Mindbender are attempting to get the all clear code from a tortured Duke. We essentially get a full issue flashback of Duke's origin. Great read.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The GoGsI've just decided that's what I'm calling them from now on. For brevity. save London from a badoon invasion, and we flashback to Starlord's dad being a manipulative asshole at a sort of galactic UN meeting.
Scarlet Spider 16. Didn't read it yet, but the cover is an homage of Superior Otto #1. Which came out a whopping three months ago.
Transformers MTMTE 16. Eulogies for those lost last issue. The final goodbye from [REDACTED] to [REDACTED] choked me up. I never thought one robot telling another robot "I love you" would make me tear up, but there ya go.
Uncanny X-Men 5. Magik's powers go wonky and everybody gets teleported to Limbo where the dread Dormammu awaits. Fraser Irving takes over art from Bachalo.
X-Termination 2. The end of the crossover. I guess also technically a FINAL ISSUE. Now I can go back and read all those other X-Termination books.

Batman: The Dark Knight #19 - Mad Hatter kidnaps Bruce's new girlfriend and makes a practice run on his grand plan, killing hundreds.
Batman Incorporated #10 - Batman prepares for Talia's next big move by injecting himself with the Man Bat formula.
Before Watchmen: Comedian #6 - Blake and his involvement in Bobby Kennedy's murder.
Deadpool #8 - Wade has the consciousness of his recently deceased SHIELD handler in his head, and the devil from last issue comes back (so it wasn't really a fun, throwaway joke issue).
Fury: My War Gone By #11 - Fury doesn't trust this black fella named Barracuda.
Guardians of the Galaxy #2 - Covered by DS.
Uncanny Avengers #7 - The Apocalypse twins kill a Celestial with Thor's old ax. Havok tries to handle Rogue's killing of Grim Reaper, but ends up pissing the team off for different reasons.
Uncanny X-Men #5 - Also covered by DS.
