No, not really. They introduced those two 90s villains an issue or two ago. The first big arc had Red Skull stealing Xavier's body and grafting their brains together so he could have Xavier's powers which, believe it or not, was far better than this issue.
After I read it I looked at the cover to make sure it was actually Uncanny Avengers. Then I checked the masthead just to be sure it wasn't some sort of ultra fuck up.

Shit, I thought that had already been established. It's hard to keep the master continuity straight with all the time jumping around between the Spotlight issues and mini series and flashback stories in Annuals and whatnot.
Sorry.

There's BOTH an Uncanny Avengers 8 and an 8AU. They's two different issues. One is the regular ongoing series issue, and the other is the Ultron alt universe tie in. The Ultron tie ins (like Fantastic Four, Avengers, etc) have binary code '1's and '0's all over the cover in the Title. But essentially they're stand alone one shots and not intrinsic to the ongoing series.

They don't necessarily get released in the same week. None of the other AU issues were. The regular version may have came out a couple weeks ago. Or maybe it hasnt come out yet. It had Sunfire on the cover all fiery and whatnot.

I wasn't trying to be dooshy myself. Last I'd heard of Dai Atlas, though, all the Autobots (at least the ones on the Lost Light) believed he was alive. Unless I'm mixing him up with someone.
Wait, he couldn't be dead. Drift met him after the war was well underway, right?

I'm sure Barber and Roberts have a huge fucking bulletin board in the IDW office that takes up an entire wall, and they're keeping all this stuff straight.

Uncanny Avengers #8 came out on May 8.
Somehow I missed it.
Dammit.

After weeks without a First or Final issue, this week we get both! Nine books this week because Atomic Robo showed up without having been announced in the Diamond List.
Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures 8. The Real Science Adventure continues!!!
Dark Avengers 190. FINAL ISSUE. The book that started out as Thunderbolts way back in 1996 finally comes to an end. The Dark Team defeats all the ersatz hero villains of the alt Earth and make it back to our world and beat up some AIM guys. Then USAgent decides not to turn the bad guys in, but start his own super team. The End!
New Avengers 6. The Illuminati stop the newest Incursion in Latveria, but Doom gets ahold of meteor chunk from the dead earth.
Gambit 13. Remy breaks into Tony Stark's NYC penthouse and steals old Iron Man armor to help his friend, Fence. Rhodey shows up in the new Iron Patriot armor(because hey there's a new movie out!) and fights him.
GIJoe 4. The citizens of Asshat, Ohio turn on the Joe team, who scramble to save Shipwreck's life and rescue Duke. Croc Master shows up. Kurth's art is all over the place. Good one panel, awful the next.
Iron Man 258.4 The end of Michelinie and Layton's sequel to Armor Wars.
Avenging Otto 21. Otto and the Avengers repel the Russian assassin squad, The Saints and Otto absconds with the Chameleon and adds him to his collection alongside Sandman and Electro.
Transformers RID 17. I will not give anything away, out of respect for candy ass Trade waiters.
XX-Men 1. FIRST ISSUE. The all female team(Storm, Psylocke, Rogue, Rachel, Kitty, and Jubes) by Wood and Coipel begins. Jubilee arrives in Westchester with the baby she didn't steal in Bulgaria. John Sublime, the hyper intelligent virus that inhabits people shows up and explains his twin sister is back from outer space after 100 Billion Years or whatever and she/it infects Omega Sentinel. A great start. Lots of action and gorgeous Coipel art.

Batman: The Dark Knight Annual #1 - Penguin, Mad Hatter and Scarecrow are all summoned to the Arkham Youth Detection Facility. Initially they believe by each other, but soon suspect Batman has lead then into a trap and begin jumping at shadows. Turns out Batman was never there, but he did lure them there...so he could have a night off. WTF? Goddamn annuals.
The Bounce #1 - No clue. I zoned out while reading it. Something about a guy who baounces off things, the cops looking for them and something that looks like the Stargate. One and done.
Fury #12 - Fury has no choice but to back down to Barracuda. Five years later, Fury gets his revenge and beats the fuck out of Barracuda, breaking bones and knocking out his front teeth. Next issue is the final one.
Uncanny Avengers #8 - From a few weeks ago. Sunfire and Thor stop the SWORD ship from wiping out a big chunk of Japan, Cap get stuck in Sudan and the Unc Av head to the North Pole (where the tribe that worships Apocalypse lives) to find out the truth about the Apoc twins.
The Wake #1 - Written by Batman scribe Scott Snyder. All set up for this 10 issue series. Starts in a flooded future, but then heads to now and a team of scientists brought together to study something mysterious. Grabbed my attention. I'll try issue #2.
X-Men #1 - Been covered.

12 issues. 2 final issues. Let's get started.
Age of Ultron 9. Oye. What a fucking travesty of a time travel story. And the one Wolverine killing the other Wolverine makes all my extremities hurt for different reasons. So, the way to kill Wolverine is apparently take him in a cave and stab him. Does this mean there's a Wolverine cadaver in the Savage Land that's been there for decades? Did Bendis and Brevoort not think ANY of this through? Insipid.
Avengers 13. Hyperion and Thor and the other Avengers rescue the little striped kids from High Evolutionary, who is using them as a battery for a Terminus he found.
Daredevil: End of Days 8. FINAL ISSUE. Ben Urich's funeral. Flashback to Matt handing the DD mantle over to Timmy. And we find out what "Mapone" was. What it was was fine. But the fact it was called 'Mapone' was not. Is that even a real name?
Daredevil: Dark Knights 1. A new anthology limited series. Matt wakes up in a hospital with amnesia and doesn't know he's DD. Damn fine art by Lee Weeks. He's always kicked ass on DD.
Fearless Defenders 4 and 5. Picked up a couple Defender issues to round up to 12. I'm never impressed with Cullen Bunn's writing. I don't hate it like Remender or Way, but it's blander than crisco. At least the Mark Brooks covers are clever and cool.
Superior Otto 11. Otto and Mayor Jameson go to the Raft as its being shut down to witness the execution of the Spider-Slayer for the murder of Jonah's wife. Natch, he breaks out and he and Boomerang, Vulture, and Scorpion team up to kill Otto.
Thanos Rising 3. Ugh. Jason Aaron has turned Thanos into a sad sack of emo shit. And that Death allegory bitch who's egging him on is just an awful obvious device. Clearly, Aaron has never read any of Starlin's Thanos stories.
Transformers RID 18. That one guy kicks all them other guys out of Iacon for being Autobots and Decepticons. Arcee tries to figure out where she fits in. One Autobot whose name rhymes with 'FumblePee' gets an upgrade so he's more like a 'Rolled Jug'. And a big Baddie shows up at the end.
Winter Soldier 19. FINAL ISSUE. The Electric Ghost gets ahold of a Cosmic Cube and uses it to retcon every moment of her horrific life up to the point where Bucky assassinated her dad. Bucky talks her out of it.
X-Factor 257. The End of X-Factor begins. Layla tracks down her husband turned demon Jamie in Marrekesh. Only five more issues left. *sniffle*
All New X-Men 12. Havok and his Uncle Tom Avengers show up thinking the X-Men are responsible for a string of bank robberies(it's really Mystique). Young Scott has a nice moment with his 'older' brother Alex. Then Young Jean Grey reads Wanda's mind("No more Mutants") and the shit hits the fan.

I would not mind if Lee Weeks were Artist For Life on Daredevil.

Innerestin'. It's been previously established that Gold Bug was a separate character in the IDW-verse. Of course, it's also been established that multiple Cybertronians may share a name (Prowl).

All-New X-Men 12. - Jean is getting annoying.
Batman: Detective Comics #21 - Bats faces off against a chick he fell in love with as a young man, even though he thought she died back in issue #0. And now she's on of Ra's Al Ghul's assassins.
DeckardSmith wrote:Daredevil: Dark Knights 1. A new anthology limited series. Matt wakes up in a hospital with amnesia and doesn't know he's DD. Damn fine art by Lee Weeks. He's always kicked ass on DD.
He may not know who he is, but he sure knows how to be Daredevil...somehow. Otherwise, pretty good.

Didn't like the fact that Ben never found out what Mapone was. That was kinda the whole point of the series.
ClusterfucksThunderbolts #10 - The team continues to search for Vanko's nephew and Elektra's not-dead brother.
