When does it get good, Chux? Honestly? I just spent an hour watching a shark villain attempting to bite through glass diving helmets, with Padme swimming around & a young Ackbar helping the mon cal prince reclaim the planet. It wasn't meh, it was bad.

I keep wondering why they threw out a bunch of great stories, but decided THIS was still canon.
"No Tom Foolery today, Ron. I'm tired of looking at your dreadful, speckled mug."
"Why do you hurt me in this way, Harry?"

JJ, that's probably the weakest arc of the series. There's one other droid-centric arc that's not much better, though, so be warned.

I know Diabolical will disagree, but The Last Jedi gets better on subsequent viewings.
Even if you don't like the story, it might just be the best directed SW film.

I honestly thought The Mandalorian was the name of a seedy bar/cantina where a bunch of anthology type stories could be told about its patrons.
Didn’t realize it was actually about a Mandalorian.

I love him too, and that's spectacularly interesting reading.

At one point, my wife had one of these birds, and it didn't do anything other than eat, poop, and confuse the dogs. If it could have done this, I would have liked it a lot more.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely
something about that 'cosmic book' site gets my common sense tingling. there are a lot of anti-brie larson and anti-captain marvel articles. seems like they have a particular agenda...
EDIT: HAHHAA, holy crap, from the 'den of geek' article from which they took all of their quotes:
EDIT: HAHHAA, holy crap, from the 'den of geek' article from which they took all of their quotes:
the original actual interview wrote:Hamill’s complicated feelings regarding the fate of the character with which he's most associated have hit the headlines since the release of The Last Jedi in December 2017. ‘The thing is, Luke changed so much between the first trilogy and the last trilogy. I got myself into trouble. I made a vow – I said that I’m not going to talk about the movies anymore, because I think it’s important for the audience to see them. My problem was, I wasn’t dealing with social media back then, where you say something and it goes around the world in 24 hours! If I were to answer your questions on paper, I’d think: oh, that sounds a little strong, or, I shouldn’t say this. But I have a tendency just to talk and talk and talk, and you can cherrypick. You know, I’ll be reading something, and say, “What moron said this?”, and then realise, “Oh, it’s me.” They can take selective comments you’ve made out of context and use it to support their argument: “See, Mark hated Star Wars!” “Did I?”
Life is short. STUNT IT!

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely
Is that implying that IG-88 is going to do something on a movie screen besides stand on the bridge of a star destroyer or hang his head behind the cantina in Mos Eisley?

And sitting defeated, in the Ugnaught junk room.
I never understood - unless I missed something - how the EU folks never created an awesome comic about IG88 tracking Boba who's tracking Han to Bespin & trying to scoop the bounty - epic bounty hunter clash & the best man(dalorian) is left standing.....

I forgot about that. Was that supposed to be IG-88 in the junk pile on Bespin?
