How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

I had no idea that was a meme.

And it is good to know that we can take a perfectly good discussion about a movie trailer and drive it right down the gutter.

Call me nuts, but I have a feeling all is not as it seems. Or when it seems. Or even when at all.

Given the "fuck the movie-only people!" ending of Solo, I have a feeling that two episodes of Rebels ("Wolves and a Door" and "A World Between Worlds") just became really important.

As the only other person here who has watched it (shame on the rest of you), what do you think, JJ?

For no real reason I could discern, I said to myself - "Oh no, not a time travel movie." I think that's still my gut instinct - to NOT want that - but I can't let myself get too up or down about any eventuality they might pursue. Rebels allowed for Palpatine & time travel. How about my theory that we'll hear "What (Kylo) told you was true, from a certain point of view." and "No. I am your father." said to Rey by you-know-who? I really didn't want that either, but I'm trying to breathe it out & just let whatever happens, happen.

So, Skywalker is gonna become like a title?
No Jedi. No Sith. Skywalkers.

Which is why it's probably not going to happen.

It would also explain, though, why Snoke is accompanied by the Plagueis theme in TFA and the Sidious theme in TLJ....

Every time I walk by a cosplayer wearing a cape or a cloak, I say
“That’s a sweet space cape, Brother”

My GF is annoyed but I’m cracking myself up.

Watched the Clone Wars Season Six Presentation.
They had the entire cast reunion onstage.
Showed 3 clips and then a trailer.

I might have to go back and try to finish the series(for the fourth time)

You should, so you'll appreciate some details in Rebels.

We need one more person here who appreciates its greatness.

Finished the day going to Anthony Daniels’ one man show. Warwick Davis dropped by for part of it. Some humorous bits, but meh.

Bought a commemorative book/magazine, a t-shirt with the Rebel symbol in vaguely Chicago Cubs colors, a pin set with Vader, Palpatine, and a Stormtrooper.
Got the 2 exclusive Hasbro Black Series Obi-Wan and Darth Maul.
And I found another loose Stormtrooper and a Tarkin with interrogation droid.
2 exclusive posters for the Mandalorian and Clone Wars panels.

It was a long day. Fucking snowing in April.
