Mine shipped from Hasbro yesterday. :)

At $20, considering you get the DVD and the MASS Device piece, I don't even care that Quick Kick and Dusty will be exclusive to future sets.

I didn't even see them on the site. Did you get all 5? So far I've only seen 1 and 2 on the shelves. These are all a must have!! I haven't been this happy over toys in a long time. I'm just super impressed at the amount of things that come with these, how fucking cool the figures are (I LOVE radioactive Snake Eyes) and of course, the DVD's! Why can't Hasbro do stuff like this with Star Wars??

Just the first two. The next three aren't solicited yet. One has the only Quick Kick, one the only Dusty, and one the only Alpine (forgot him earlier).

But, like I said, I don't mind getting so many duplicate and repaint figures with all the other goodies.

You know when the next 3 are coming out (of the closet for solicitation purposes)?

End of the year, I think? Truth be told, as much as I love the Joe stuff, I wouldn't mind them slowing down on it just a tad.

Then again, come next April (or thereabouts), it'll all be movie stuff that I won't collect even if the movie turns out to not suck.

Ok, good deal, my Barbeque and Snow Serpent shipped today from HTS, woohoo AND I found Baroness in blue and Cobra H.I.S.S. driver today. However, I put the H.I.S.S. driver back because all be god damned they were fucking $7.99 a fucking piece!

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? Jesus, just a few months ago, Joes were just a little over 5 bones! This is really pissing me off! I'm really beginning to HATE Target. I bought some deodorant to make it look like I didn't spend that much on one fucking figure. Disgusting :frus:

I've been ordering everything I can from HTS; using discount codes, they come out way cheaper than in stores (once you figure in tax). And my Snow Serpent, Hawk, and Barbecue shipped yesterday. Wonder why the extra day for yours? Ah well, we'll both have them by next week. :mabs:

I scored the black HISS yesterday, finally. I've not opened all these vehicles yet, since I need to clear space, but it looks like there are a lot of figures with holsters, yet I don't see guns. Plus, Falcon had a holster and no gun. What's with this? If you're not including the gun, cut the damned holster off.

Also, anyone have any advice on some basic weathering techniques? I'm especially looking at the Air Chariot, which is a vehicle I rather like, despite hating Serpentor. (Luckily, he's a straight repack of the carded version I passed on, so I don't have two, and the upcoming one with the DVD is the classic costume.) The Chariot looks really shitty in monotone gold, though.

Figs in the DVD packs are like that, I was especially sad about Radiation Snake Eyes, he's got the knife and gun holster, yet no knife and gun came with him. Also, the weapons that come with them are copper in color :???: Me don't like that. Hopefully they will come out with some kind of accessory pack one of these days!

Congrats on the HISS buy, I saw it today at target but I was SO disgusted with the price increase I said fuck it!

basic weathering-

Easiest thing to do is get some acrylic black paint (make SURE it's flat) thin it out a bit and just paint it all over the thing- if you want to make the highlights "pop", let it dry a bit then rub it off lightly with a paper towel or a scrap of denim (something that won't leave little shreds of crap behind)

Might wanna try it on some toy you don't care about just to get the hang of it first.

IF you fuck it up or don't like the result, you can always blast it with over cleaner and clean it all off with a toothbrush and try again (make SURE you wear gloves if you do this as if you do not, blood will come out of your fingernails, I learned that the hard way)

I got the MASS device pack with Snake Eyes in it today (well, most of it - the dude I bought it from wanted the Cobra Trooper so I got the rest for cheap). I was very pleased that the DVD contained the whole 5 part story. Will every pack have the same DVD then?

Good news, they are all different and the figures in each dvd pack have to do with the dvd mini series contained within. These dvd packs are fucking awesome! and I cleaned out my keyboard today and WOW does it work much better :mabs:

Cool about the DVDs (and about your keyboard  ). I saw the next set online (Roadblock in the tangled weeds) and will pop for it just to get the DVD and MASS piece (I'm less excited about those figures by a fair margin). Is there a link to the next 3 sets anywhere?
