Red Shift was from some Galactus miniseries a while ago, he was the most idiotic herald ever (and I know about Morg BTW)
Yeah, Starfish or whatever, I just looked at the pic and was shocked that Red Shit got knocked off the list as stupidest Herald EVER

I think they are both dead now, thanks to Annihilus. So is Air Walker, and possibly even Firelord. I can't seem to recall if he also died in the conflagration. I do know that ALOT of cosmic heroes are GONE.

Read Annihilation people!

ASM 538
Frontline 11
Thunderbolts 111
X-Men 196
Eternals 3, 7
Black Panther 25

and that might be it, I don't have them beside me. I've only read Amazing so far.

Frontline #11 - shitty end to a shitty story. Props for the Fuck You Tony Stark story.

Daredevil #94 - Filler story about DD and his wife. I've been reading since Brubaker took over (8-9 issues now?) and I had no idea that chick was his wife. Great old school cover by John Romita and seeing Lee Weeks draw DD again was a blast from the 90s.

D'Airain Aventure #1 - Ashley Wood is awesome. Haven't read the issue yet, but one of the stories is Robots vs. Zombies (which had it's own 2 issue mini that I missed) and the inside front cover has a painting of a naked chick diddling her pooter.

That beats the hell out of the pictures of Spider-Man I was looking at today.

My thoughts on what I read.

Flash. ooh, lots of quippy banter. Apokilips, Nebraska. ha. I will stich around and see what Marc Guggenheim can do ith Bart as the Scarlet Speedster. especially with the Rogues finally showing back up.

Justice. A tad confusing after last months rockin' turning point issue. But good. As always, i think this will be better when it comes out in TPB.

Annihilation. Terrax' story was good. And I like it when they use lesser characters like Paibok the power skrull. The Stardust (Mabs' ubergay Herald) story was kind of weak. Since I know nothing about him, i really don't care that he saved the last 53 of his kind on one page and then fed them to Galactus 8 panels later.

Black Panther. Storm vs Clone Thor. Raging electric battle. But it's Civil War and I've closed that chapter in my life, so I didn't really find it magnificent.

Civil War: Frontline. Ahhh God. It's over. This issue made Tony Stark and even bigger douche. I love it.

Daredevil. A good stand alone issue. I don't much like how they are trying to set up a way to move Milla out of the picture. If writers are afraid to try and deal with a character, they just conveniently dump them.

Iron Man. Fucking kill Dum Dum Dugan already.

X-Men. Nothing worth mentioning. Which is sad for the X-books.

Black Panther 25 was one of the worst comics I've EVER read. As if Storm would ever stand there and go "oooh" and "ahhhhh" with a big orgasm face on watching other heroes fight. Fuck that, and the terrible art it rode in on. The whole "keep the readers guessing" about what happened is STUPID, because we had already read it by the time this came out. Fuck me.

Feb 22 - Way to call it a few weeks early, kid.

Here's what I thought.

52. In the home stretch this book is getting very very good. Black Adam's loss sets the stage for WWIII.

Justice League 6. Finishing up the first story arc. Red Tornado loses a chance at happiness. This book is really well written and Ed Benes is as fine an artist out there in today s books. You are doing yourself a disservice if you aren't reading it.

Captain America. Wow. Fucking awesome, publicity stunt or not. We'll talk more in depth in the Marvel Topic.

Dark Tower. Now that I'm halfway through the 4th book I have a better understanding of the world and events in this comic. Its damn good and Jae Lee's art is wicked.

Fantastic Four. Ugh. Anniversay Issues where they pat themselves on the back but don't actually advance the story. And the back up story by Paul Pope? Icky.

FF: The End. Oh I get it. It's THE END because now they are the Fantastic SIX. Overall a mediocre series.

Friendly Neighborhood Spidey. Bleah. Why do I keep buying this?

Hulk. So what they take a year or more to build up, they can destroy in two issues? That fucking sucks. And it's only to feed the crossover machine that is WWHulk.

Mighty Avengers. Big Budget. High Octane. Fun Old School Super Heroics. Goddamn I've missed them. Ares is great. The whole recruitment of him scene was awesome. He's a Wolverine AND a Thor!

Onslaught Reborn. Whoops.

Punisher. Keeping up a solid series. Next to this book, that new PWJ book is donkey piss.

Ultimate Spidey. Haven't read it yet, but it's Bendis and Bagley and can they do wrong? I submit they cannot.

Uncanny X- Men. Getting down to the end game of Brubaker's year long series. Tan's artwork has evened out for the better. It's too bad that Marvel has decided to marginalize the X books in favor of this Civil War/ Avengers marketing push.

I also picked up Drednoks: DeClassified and Avengers: Initiative but I haven't read them yet.

Punisher #45 - After two issues of set-up, things finally get rolling. Next issue should be good.

Wolverine #51 - I tried it last month and this month. I shouldn't have. Doesn't make a damn bit of sense. Jeph Loeb is overrated.

Star Wars Legacy #9 - Talky, talky, talky. I don't give a shit about Imperial sneaking around plotting against each other.

Marvel Zombies: Army of Darkness #1 - Never got into the whole Army of Darkness stuff, but this first issue wasn't as fun as Marvel Zombies. Captain America "dies" in this issue also.

Criminal #5 - Good end to a good first arc of the crime noir series.

I bought comics as well, but haven't read any of them yet:

Cap 25
FNSpidey 18
Mighty Avengers 1
The Initiative 1 shot
Uncanny 48?
Midnighter 5 (missed #4 piss)
The Authority 2 (only 4 months late)
FF the End 6 - by mistake - I only get the regular book
Hulk
Dark Tower 2

yeah I was underwhelmed by Wolverine and didn't even bother with the second issue.

Lemme think about what I bought this week.

Teen Titans. Hmmmm...nothing spectacular. Not utilizing Deathstroke to his badassness level. Watching Batgirl kick the Titans ass was fun, but then Robin went and "fixed" her so shes a good guy again. Again, a great potential storyline wasted.

N'Avengers. I'm not a huge fan of Lienel Yu's art. But this story is kicking all kinds of funny. Especially when a good portion of the issue is Silver Samurai pissed at Wolverine for bringing the Avengers to his house.

Moon Knight. Again with all the supporting characters we have no idea about. Marc facing down "righteous" Captain America was good. Finch's art is wicked. But you need a goddamn program to figure who all Spector's friends are.

Thunderbolts. Don't get me wrong, Warren Ellis is an amazing writer, but it's SO fucking hard to root for these assholes. I feel depressed buying this every month because of what it bodes for the future or Marvel.

New X-Men. The little X-book that could. I am glad I keep getting this every month. It's more interesting than X-Men and less depressing than Uncanny.

Punisher War Journal. i got the last two issues. Seeing where this is headed with that stupid Captain America story, I want to just stick to the GOOD MAX Punisher book, but morbid curiosity brings me back.

Civil War : The Confession. A weepy end to the story. Iron Man asks forgiveness from Cap's dead body. Former DD team Bendis and Maleev tell a good tale. Why could not the rest of Civil War been this poignant?
