DC/Warner is fucking retarded in general. Look at their DC film venue. Instead of their A-List like Wonder Woman and Flash, we get what? Steel? Catwoman?
And how do you fuck up Jonah Hex? Hex as a concept is fuck-up proof. Unless you're Warner Bros.
And Green Lantern was such a horrific misfire. If I was a stockholder, I'd ask how they could be mishandling IPs like the Justice League and no one is getting sent to the unemployment line.

So did JGL beef up for this then because he's always been really skinny. I have a hard time seeing him fill out a bat suit.

Christopher Nolan has brought Tom Hardy and Christian Bale back for some last minute reshoots. Apparently, the final battle will now take place in a Shawarma Restaurant. He hopes this will result in more ticket sales.

Nor will you, until you read Game of Thrones.

Liar, liar, pants on fire. :)

It occurs to me watching the latest trailer, with the bridges blowing up and the mass looting, that this looks like a combination of Knightfall and No Man's Land. Which might seem ridiculous at first, until you think of it. One is Batman brought to his lowest, the other is his city brought to its lowest.

Ha ha. David Letterman totally gave away the ending of the movie.

It amuses me he tried to make a Bane/Bain Capital connection. Nobody on his staff could do even a cursory wiki search on Bane and discover he's a twenty year old villain. Created by a decidedly conservative writer.

Jackass.

Even if they did do the research, he probably figures his listeners are all chimpanzees who wouldn't do their own cursory fact checking to see if he was spewing complete bullshit. I mean, they haven't for 25 years, so why start now?

If you had a Venn diagram of Rush listeners, and people with triple digit IQs, the two circles wouldn't touch.

I was actually wondering yesterday why we're not seeing more political cartoonists and satirists picking up on the Bain/Bane thing, and Jon Stewart returned last night from vacation to start off with that bit.

And Rush mentions it today. Coincidence? Sadly, I think not.

I forgot until reading the CBR piece that he was created by one of the most conservative writers in comics. I can definitely see a bit of Ayn Rand in Bane's origin, though not to the point of foolishness that she was fond of. I lean left, but I'm not about to deny that Dixon is one of the best in the business, even if his work on the IDW Joe-verse is a bit spotty. (Then again, he aced Batman and is the definitive Robin solo writer, and Hama's Batman was pretty forgettable, so I guess it's a trade-off.)

Hmm... Dixon, Willingham, and Miller, and we probably shouldn't count Miller because he's certifiable. Who else?

Did Rush Limbaugh ever know how anything works? You can't forget if you never knew.
