John Stewart has been confirmed for Man of Tomorrow.

Fuck. Yes.

In my book, DC is Batman, Lobo, Ambush Bug, and the Green Lanterns. Then everyone else, including Superman. Poor dude is gonna get upstaged by a GL in his own movie twice.

Given the tonal shift between the Superman film(and the Supergirl trailer, which seems to be in the same four-color, lighthearted vein as Superman) and the drab, underwhelming Lanterns trailer, i’ll reserve judgment.

There’s nothing about the Lanterns show that has me excited to watch it. Not that I was going to watch it anyway, since I don’t have Max, and I’m not planning on getting it. But when your premise is “Green Space Cops” and you take out both the ‘green’ and ‘space’ parts, you’re just left with ‘cops’. Don’t disrespect Ch’p!

I liked Supergirl.

No spoilers except to say Momoa IS Lobo. And understated a bit, presumably to not throw off the tone of the film.

That just shows you how much of a chode Zac Snyder is.

Snyder:”you know who Jason Momoa would be perfect as?”
Everybody:”Lobo—“
Snyder:”AQUAMAN!”
Everybody:”………..wut?”

I was a bit underwhelmed by Supergirl. I thought it was just incel haters bashing the movie cause it had a female lead. Lobo was the highlight of the film. There were some decent parts in the film, but it was poorly paced and the supposed emotional anchor(“my dog’s been poisoned”) became an afterthought. Kara was either overpowered or nerfed throughout the film.

At the end I know Lobo says “Later, Ditz” because it was a callback to the insult earlier in the film but I heard “Later, Tits.” which honestly is more on brand for Lobo.

I heard "tits," too. Disappointed to know I was wrong.

Saw Supergirl today. It was good, not great.
The film was way too dark visually and should've had a bit more levity to it.
It might have worked better as a 6 episode series.
