Dude, we can't get Yarna, or young Owen and Beru, or half the damned Ewoks, but Hasbro is revealing some pretty fucking disturbing tendencies with the latest comic 2-pack.
That's a nice re-tool for Alpha (and comes with a removeable helmet, which is good, because he's one of the few clones that really needs it).
But note that Obi-Wan appears to come with interchangeable heads... and one is the gimp mask!!

Obi-Wan is thought to have been killed, but is really captured by Asajj (because, though Marvel doesn't publish SW, the writers write them as if they worked for Marvel). She puts him in this crazy Sith torture mask and chains him up.
Funny thing... Alpha should be shirtless and beat to hell if Obi-Wan has the gimp mask.
Oh, and I don't think the gimp mask actually appears until the next issue, IIRC.

Even if I read the comics, I wouldn't read the prequel carp. Is Alpha the blue & white clone and Asajj is that blue sith ninja chick from the cartoon, right?
The Obi-Wan looks funny. They gave him a plastic cloak, but the inner robe/shirt looks like it is fabric. It's like Hasbro is using the Chewbacca Defence.
Yes, they are. Yet I continue to buy their Star Wars crap. I got the Tantive IV battlepack today. Why did it have to come with ANOTHER FRICKIN' DARTH VADER? I still haven't bought the Death Star Briefing set. Probably will get it next month. But why did it have to come with ANOTHER FRICKIN' DARTH VADER?
Bastards. They'll make fun of you for wanting a Yarna figure, then kick your dog.
I know it's off the topic of hatin', but were those Rebel Troopers new at all, or were they straight repacks?
And speaking of Vader, I think I have EVERY Vader figure ever produced except for the Silver Toy Fair version and the double telescoping vintage... I should count them up.
I'm not sure yet because I'm still at work. My wife called me to tell me she found it at Target today. From what I've read, it is the same bodies as the Saga version, but I think the they now have removeable helmets. I read somewhere that there are 2 different head sculpts.
The battle pack rebels do have the same Saga body. It looks like the head is different. One has black hair and sideburns...sort of like a cross between Vince McMahnon and BoShek. The other has short brown hair. The helmet looks like it was based on Capt. Antillies' helmet, but it has a different chin strap and color. There are some other minor differences, too.
The interrogation droid from the Commtech Vader is in there. Why? I don't know, but I'm kind of glad, because my dog chewed on my original one.
