16 books, plus 2 from another shop. 2 Finals, 1 going on hiatus for Secret Wars, and a bunch of First issues, most of them SW related.
Amazing Spidey 18.1 Part 3 of Gerry Conway's gang turf war storyline rollicks along. Conway needs to get more work.
Amazing Spidey:Renew Your Vows 1. SW! Somebody is killing heroes. The Avengers go to stop a new baddie called Regent, but Spidey heads home to stop Venom who's threatening MJ and Annie, Spidey's daughter. Spidey kills Venom by collapsing a burning building on him and all the Avengers die. Spidey retires to raise his kid. That's just the first issue.
Future Imperfect 1. SW! Ruby Summers and Janis start a rebellion to overthrow Maestro. He beats the shit out of them. The Thing shows up on the last page.
Groot 1. Every Guardian is getting their own ongoing. This one tries to hard to be cute as funny.
Guardians Team Up 6. Bill Willingham writes a team up with Nightcrawler and Gamora in an intergalactic sword fighting competition. Good stuff.
Giant Size Little Marvel AvsX 1. SW! The cute little Skottie Young characters all being rambunctious and cute.
Superior Iron Man 9. Final Issue. Tony traps his AI self on a flash drive. Pepper vows to smear his name with her newly acquired media empire. Kinda unresolved finale.
Secret Wars 3. The Cabal is loose on Battleworld. Miles stowed away on their lifeboat. Dr Strange opens up the 616 lifeboat and explains they've been in stasis for eight years. Reed is unhappy to hear Doom is God. The Thors find the Cabal. Holy shitballs this book is great.
Spider-Woman 8. Jess fights a human construction vehicle before realizing she's uncovered a colony of supervillains' families who've escaped and are hiding out. She vows to keep their secret safe. Next issue isn't until August.
Squirrel Girl 6. This book is hilarious. Start reading it and Howard the Duck.
Star Wars 6, Darth Vader 6.,
Princess Liea 4. More fanfic in the rebooted SWUniverse. Vader now knows Skywalker's name. And also the Han Solo thing.
TF vs GIJoe 7. Didn't even read it. Not sure why I bought it.
All New X-Men 41. Final Issue. The kids help a bunch of survivors on Utopia ditch SHIELD and move into the Weapon X complex.
X-Tinction Agenda 1. SW! Havok and Wolfbane stayed to help Genosha rebuild after the original XTinction Agenda. But it's years later and things are shittier than ever. So they're gonna break into the x mansion and kidnap somebody.
Years of Future Past 1. SW! In the DoFP future Kitty and Peter's daughter and the rest of the surviving X-Men face sentinels and politics and stuff.
Secret Wars Battleworld 2. SW! Two short stories. One has Howard the Duck and 70s style Blade fighting vampire ducks. The other is about a cyborg Thunderbolt Ross surviving the gladiatorial arena of Planet Hulk.

12 books this week. A couple final issues. Another one going on hiatus for SW. And a bunch of SW silliness.
Mighty Avengers 9. Final Issue. Last Days tie in. The touching final minutes of the Mighty Avengers before the Secret Wars incursion destroyed everything. Well played, Ewing. I hope you get the Avengers ongoing after SW.
Mrs. Deadpool and the Howling Commandos 1. SW! Dracula killed Wade in this version and Shiklah married Drac instead. Now she's taking her dead brothers' souls to hell accompanied by the Monsters Frankenstein, Werewolf, Man-Thing, Living Mummy and Marcus the diabetic Minotaur bonded with a symbiote. But they've been tasked to kill her instead. All narrated by the ghost of Deadpool.
Ghost Racers 1. SW! All the Ghost Riders endlessly race each other every night. The losers all get tortured until the next night. Robbie Reyes wins every night since he's Marvel version of trying to make Fetch happen.
GIJoe ARAH 214. All silent issue of the military funeral. Worth getting.
Max Ride 3. Got it for the kid.
Secret Wars Journal 2. SW! Misty Knight and Paladin are cops in Killville and they redeem a gold coin worth millions to Kraven. In the second story Matt Murdock is a chef for Mr. Sinister and plans to poison his master to free his love Elektra. Tragic twist ending.
SHIELD 6. Coulson's team has to stop a magical virus invasion from Dormammu and his Mindless Ones without any help from any magic users who've all been compromised.
Silk 5. Cindy and Spidey help a D-list villain rescue his daughter from Black Cat who kidnapped the kid in order to force a showdown with Silk. Then a cliffhanger ending while the book goes on hiatus until August.
Silver Surfer 12. Norrin and Dawn figure out the new paradise planet they landed on is manipulating them into not leaving.
Spider-Gwen 5. Final Issue. Ends prematurely because of SW. Gwen and her rock star nemesis Black Cat fight Kingpin's head Hitman Matt Murdock.
Transformers Windblade 3. Part of Combiner Wars. Didn't read it yet.
Ultimate End 2. SW! The Thors tell the two teams of heroes to stop trying to fix the incursion problem. Ultimate Hawkeye mouths off and they kill him. 616 and Ultimate Tony Stark work the problem together. 616 and Ultimate Hulk fight and break open Ryker's Island where Ultimate(?) Punisher escapes.

Batman #41 & Detective Comics #41 - Gordon becomes Robot Batman Bunny, while Bullock wrestles with becoming part of Robot Batman Bunny's support team. Ugh.
Kanan: The Last Padawan #3 - Caleb is on the run and makes steps to start changing his identity to Kanan.

Rat Queens, Vol. 2: The first was good enough go warrant getting the second. Which isn't awful, but a lot of what felt like setup and world building in the first volume comes across as spinning wheels and trying too hard here. Stuff happens, but the characters don't seem any different from page one of the first. I don't think the dude knows any other tricks. Not going to read any further, because it'll just be more jokes about lesbian dwarves.

An unusually small week with only 8 books. And only 3 SW related issues.
Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars 2. More mildly funny retconned insertion of Wade into the original SW series.
Deathlok 9. Mike Collins finally suits up to stop Henry and bring him in on SHIELDs behalf.
Magneto 19. Last Days tie in. In order to power up enough to stop the incursion, Magneto goes to SugarMan for help. Then he kills SugarMan.
Ms. Marvel 16. Last Days tie in. With a planet dropping on Manhattan, Kamala organizes Jersey City to survive the incursion. And her hero and idol Carol Danvers shows up.
Moon Knight 16. One of the few Marvel books avoiding SW altogether. Moony stops some hitech kidnappers in a great aerial battle over NYC. Then it limps to the finish.
Old Man Logan 2. SW! Logan climbs over the wall and lands in Age of Apocalypse where he's confused because all the X-Men he killed are still alive.
Thors 1. SW! Ultimate Thor and Beta Ray are cops looking for a serial killer who only kills Jane Fosters. Pretty good.
Transformers RID 42. Epilogue to Combiner Wars. Of which I have not read any. But will do so this week.

12 books this week. Minimal amount of Secret Wars.
Ant-Man Larger than Life. MCU issue of how Hank Pym first shrunk himself down and interacted with Ants. Also reprints of the first two Tales to Astonish Ant-Man stories. Heh. 1950s science is hilarious.
Uncanny Avengers 5. Final Issue. Te relaunch limps to it's premature conclusion. I hope this not Magneto's children bs gets retconned soon.
Black Widow 19. Last Days tie in. The world is ending. So we flashback to when Nat was a Russian agent tasked with exfiltrating some non-Communists out of Cuba.
Daredevil 16. Waid is wrapping up his run huge. Matt has to make a deal with Fisk to stop the Shroud and protect Kirsten and Foggy. And of course double cross.
GIJoe ARAH 215. Wade agrees to become Snake-Eyes 2.0 officially.
Howard the Duck 4. More hilariousness involving Dr. Strange, Human Torch and the Abundant Gauntlet and Gems. Watered down versions of the infinity gems. This book is fuckin' funny and you should be reading it.
Loki 15. Last Days tie in. All out war between Asgard and Hel. Not to mention the origin of Verity. More great stuff.
Punisher 19. Last Days. Oh HELL NAW. Remember that shitty cliffhanger from last month? We'll just ignore that. Remember when those guys kidnapped your family and tried to kill you? Naw, we'll ignore that too and now we're all buds. And the world is ending so instead of killing mobsters which has been my life's work since my family died, I'll instead accept a mission in the Middle East for no fucking reason whatsoever from the guys who last month were the bad guys. Fuck. You. Edmondson. Right in your goat ass. And WHAT is with the fucking ski mask??! It impedes peripheral vision and he doesn't have a secret identity. Why the fuck is he wearing it???! GAWD!!
SHIELD 7. Daisy..or Skye..reunites with her dad to help her cure her acting up powers.
Transformers MTME 42. Haven't read it yet.
Transformers Windblade 4. Combiner War Epilogue. Haven't read it yet.
X-Men '92 1. SW! Based on the Cartoon. It was meh.

Stores B&C:
Bob's Burgers 1 for Thomas
SW 4 standard cover, I'll return the variant to my shop A so he can make a buck off it
Old Man Logan 1 & 2 as they had first prints & I was regretting not getting it
Sandman Overture 5
Still missing DD 16. I've had DD on my pull list without a break since I came back into comics in early 1995.... yet somehow issues get missed.

From two weeks ago, 12 books, half of which are SW related. And a couple more are SW related. (that's a joke. Secret Wars, Star Wars...)
Amazing Spidey 19.1 Conway's Spiral arc continues. Watanabe loses her job and goes full Wraith. Ringmaster and his Circus chumps get best up by Spidey.
A-Force 2. SW! The girls try to figure who framed America Chavez and who the new mystery girl is.
Barb Wire 1. I'll admit I half got this just because of the Adam Hughes cover.
Guardians Team Up 7. Drax teams up with Ant-Man. Wow, it's almost as it one of these guys had a huge hit movie, and the other has a movie coming up. Weird.
Little Marvel AvsX 2. SW! New kids move into the neighborhood and the lil A's and lil X's try to coax them to their teams. Adorable hilarity ensues.
Red Skull 1. SW! A team of criminals from various realms is pressed into a Dirty Dozen type team to go into the wastelands to find and kill Red Skull. Everybody immediately does, excep Magneto, who is rescued...by the Red Skull.
Secret Wars 4. The series reaches it's halfway point as Doom shows everyone why he's in charge, and Strange saves everyone from Doom's wrath but with a cost.
Secret Wars Journal 3. A Noir style Logan looks for Tony Stark's killer in the first story. A Leonard Samson head shrinks different Hulks in Greenland in the second.
Squirrel Girl 7. A Norse Squirrel Goddess makes everybody involuntarily angry and violent and Doreen must stop her.
Darth Vader 7. Vader visits the old homestead on Tatooine, blows up Kenobi's home, and then sends Aphra on an undercover mission.
Princess Leia 5. Finall issue. Leia rallies the troops. Or something.
Ultimate End 3. Ultimate Punisher kills regular Punisher. We flashback to how the two Hulks started tussling.

From last week. Only 9 books. Six of which were SW.
Amazing Spidey Renew Your Vows 2. SW! After several years, Spidey comes out of retirement to save the Power Pack kids and gets Regent's Sinister Six sicced on him.
Archie 1. First Issue! Holy cow! The first issue of Archie! Jackpot!!! This is worth like $50,000!!! Oh...wait...I've just been informed this is not the original, but the 2015 relaunch.
Civil War 1. SW! What happened if Tony and Steve hadn't settled their differences and instead kept on fighting for 15 years.
Mrs Deadpool and the Howling Commandos 2. The Commandos double cross their boss Dracula and join Shiklah's quest to over throw him.
1872 1. SW! The old west version of the Marvel U. Sheriff Steve Rogers protects Red Wolf from Fisk's henchmen who want to hang him without a trial.
Ghost Racers 2. SW! More Ghost Racing!
Max Ride 4. Bought it for the kid.
Spider Island 1. SW! What if the Spider Queen had kept control of Manhattan and turned all the heroes into spider zombies except Venom.
Lando 1. Lando and Lobot steal a rich guy's shuttle to pay off their debt. The rich guy, unfortunately, is Emperor Palpatine.

Umm, if Darth Vader blew up Obi-Wan's home, well, uh, hasn't it been clearly stated in material that remains canon that Luke stayed there just prior to ROTJ?
I smell a huge continuity fart here.

I'm pretty sure the love child of the brainwashed clone of Darth Maul and the last Naboo handmaiden who secretly took up Jedi lessons from the 100th Jedi Master to escape Order 66 rebuilds Kenobi's hut with the help of a refurbished R5-D4 purchased from some exceptionally tall Jawas just in time for RotJ.
