Hey JJ!
How have Inhumans and Infinity Gauntlet been.
I totally skipped Inhumans and only got the first issue of IG.

I would recommend them. Inhumans has the same "creative feel" as the previous series even though the characters start out in more hidden roles. They're basically plotting a rebellion from a fancy night club. The Infinity Gauntlet is about a family on the run in a destroyed cityscape, the mom is gone as part of the nova corps. Fanstastically she returns in the nick of time to save them from some bugs and - wouldn't you just know it - the husband & kids become novas too. The family who plays together so to speak. I will have to read issue 3 & update you - it feels like there was a longer than normal gap between 2 & 3.

Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra. Shit. IDW, just have Costa write one Joe title and make whatever it is the main one. This was so much better than expected, and I like that it ends with hints that Snake Eyes is still on the side of the angels, but far from full confirmation. He also got Destro right, the only writer to touch him in IDW since Dixon who didn't fuck up royally.
I finally read Fall of Joe 2 to prepare for this. Night and day. The story is okay, but not noteworthy. The art, holy shit, they need to can Kurth already. Every. Fucking. Character. Looks alike. I actually had trouble following the story because there are two other characters who look just like Duke, on missions rather similar to Duke's. It's been a long time since a book has been that bad about characters not being identifiable. Fuck, half the characters in More Than Meets the Eye have almost identical faceplates covering the same half of their heads and I never have that problem!

Infinity Gauntlet - obviously should have mentioned that Thanos is involved here (my main reason for being interested - I've been trying to keep up with Thanos stuff lately due to his upcoming movie appearance), hopping around in time trying to assemble said Gauntlet. In issue 3 he's hanging with the Nova family, the mom of which has now assembled 3 of the stones. Nothing good will come of this. Haven't read Inhumans 4 yet but it's sitting here.

I picked up Infinity G #2 last week. It was a'ight.
Not sure I'm sold on the series though. It's average.

Yeah, my "buy Thanos" urge is pretty strong right now or else I would have stopped on that origin piece of shit limited series after the first issue

Yeah. What irks me is that I found that pos series in the quarter bins about six months after that. Could've had the entire thing for $1.25 instead $20.
Oh well. C'est la vie.

16 books last week. 10 which were SW. And one fantastic Final Issue.
ASM Renew Your Vows 4. SW! Spidey and his family join the resistance against Regent. But is it me or has Adam Kubert's art really sucked throughout this series? He'll have the occasional good panel or even page. But mostly...yeuuchh.
Capt Britain Mighty Defenders 2. SW! Faisa and her fellow Defenders defend against the invading forces of wherever.
1872 2. SW! The old west version of the Marvel U. Sheriff Rogers tries to prevent Red Wolf from getting lynched by Fisk's guys and he gets killed for it.
GIJoe ARAH 217. SE 2.0 arrives at the original Pit. Zartan and Tommy exchange words, although Tommy was drawn like he was 12 years old so I didn't realize it was him. Lots of other subplots boil.
Guardians Team Up 10. Rocket and Deadpool team up.
Guardians of Knowhere 3. SW! Angela defeats stupid-name guy. The Novas and Guardians square off. Angela and Gamora have a philosophical/physical battle about Doom.
House of M 1.SW! Pietro plots with Namor to overthrow Magneto. Yawn.
Howard the Human 1. SW! PI Howard trapped in world of animals. Meh.
Infinity Gauntlet 2. SW! Mom gives the rest of the family Nova power. Thanos destroys...Thanos?
Loki 17. Final Issue. Last Days tie in. Al Ewing gets all Meta about the nature of storytelling, storytellers and the cyclical nature of it. Great finale to a series.
Secret Wars Secret Love 1. SW! Several short romance stories set on Battleworld. Thought it was going to be slightly more tongue in cheek.
Secret Wars Journal 4. SW! Story 1 has Punisher and Iron Fist on the Wall. Story 2 is Psylocke helping Kyle rescue Northstar and sacrificing herself.
Silk 6. Silk finds a clue to her family, but Black Cat kills him before she can find answers.
Spider-Verse 4. SW! Uhmmm. Spider-Versery...stuff. I dunno, I didn't get 1-3.
Star Wars 8. Stuart Immonen and his wonderful art joins the team. Mrs. Solo comes for the bounty on Leia. Luke gets his lightsaber stolen in a Catina on Nar Shaddaa. Dumbass cracker farm boy.
Transformers Windblade 6. Another lost colony is reached. This one is Beast Wars(?) apparently. I never watched BW so I'm not sure.

Man, when I fall behind this becomes very daunting. Okay, 2 weeks ago; 12 books. Three Final Issues, six SW! Books and a First.
Last Days of Ant-Man 1. Last days tie in (duh). Why this was a Oneshot and not just the next issue of AntMan I do not know. But wev. Facing the incursion, Scott helps a GA hero find an Asgardian doohickey that turns a bunch of old folks in a retirement home back into their younger GA hero and villains selves for one last day. Yes, Cocoon for supers. Then he hooks up with the Beetle before the world ends.
Civil War 3. SW! Both sides are being played by T'Challa who isn't dead.
Deadpool's Secret Secret War 4. SW! Deadpool saves the day and then gets erased from the history of the original SW. Still, his 70s porn stache was glorious.
Hank Johnson Agent of HYDRA. SW! OHMIGOD this is fucking hilarious. I'm sad it's a Oneshot. Go buy this immediately.
Inhumans 4. SW! Blackbolt is leading a resistance or something. And he can talk.
Magneto 21. Final Issue. Last Days tie in. Magneto tries to stop the incursion and burns himself out in the process.
Old Man Logan 4.SW! Logan is south of the wall fighting endless zombie hordes. He's rescued by a SheHulk who throws him into Manhattan.
Seven Percent Solution 1. A story about Sherlock Holmes and Sigmund Freud.
SHIELD 9. Giant ass 50th Anniversary issue. Takes a 2 page pitch Jack Kirby wrote 50 years ago and expands it into a giant long lingering Shield conspiracy.
Spider-Woman 10. Final Issue. Last Days tie in. Jess ties up her loose ends and the heads back to NYC for the incursion.
Lando 3. I don't want to spoil it but I'm pretty sure the "twist" happened in this issue. What I can't figure out is why they would bother. They being the "twins". If you know what I'm talking about, we will discuss after the series ends in two more issues.
X-Men '92 3. SW! Just needed a book to round up to 12.

Okay, last week only 8 books(sorta). 3 Firsts, 2 Final, and 2 SW!
But then also 7 more books, one of which was a Final issue.
Deadpool vs Thanos 1. So somebody has kidnapped Death. And now no one anywhere is dying. Death chooses Wade as her champion to find her and rescue her. Thanos doesn't like that and beats DP to death. Except he can't die. So they reluctantly team up to go save their mutual girlfriend.
MiracleMan 1. First issue of second series relaunch. It's got a poly bag on it so I didn't read it yet.
Mockingbird 1. SHIELD 50th Anniversary Oneshot. Bobbi tracks down the murderer of her mentor. Also introduces the Red Widow, a teen product of the Red Room and soon to be everywhere in the Marvel U.
Silk 7. Final Issue. Last Days tie in. Cindy manages to track down her missing brother just as the Incursion hits.
Silver Surfer 14. Last Days tie in. Surfer and Dawn are trying to rebuild the Universe but it's sort of monkey paw situation.
Spider Island 3. SW! Venom and his team rescue Peter and vow to take back the island.
Thors 3. SW! Thor interrogates Loki about the Jane Foster serial killings. And the murderer reveals himself.
Transformers MTMTE 44. haven't read it yet.
And the sorta part. So my guy didn't have Daredevil. Or I missed it. Either way I stopped in a different shop the next day and bought the Final Issue of Waid and Samnee's DD run. It was excellent. I also bought Saga 24-29 to catch up on that series. So 7 extra books that week.

And finally, this week; 12 books. Six SW! Books. And 3 First Issues.
ASM Renew Your Vows 4. SW! Spidey, MJ, and Annie team up and defeat the big bad guy. Then go home and eat pancakes. Final Issue.
Atomic Robo: Ring of Fire 1. Robo is back!!! Well sorta. The series is back. Woot!
A-Force 4. SW! Oh. What. A. Surprise. Loki is the bad guy. Did. Not. See. That. Coming.
Civil War 4. SW! It wasn't T'Challa after all. It was them dirty Skrulls tricking everyone into fighting. And it worked.
Mrs Deadpool 4. SW! Shiklah and her commandos defeat Dracula but everyone does at the end because the Thor Corps shows up and destroys them. Oh Duggan, you rascal!
Little AvsX 4. The lil Avengers, X-Men, Guardians, and Inhumans try to get the twins to join them. They end up joining the Brotherhood of Evil. Final Issue.
Ms. Marvel 18. Last Days tie in. Kamala helps save her brother with Carol's help. Carol tells her the world won't probably survive so Kamala goes home and reveals her secret to her mother.
Seven Percent Solution 2. Sherlock meets Freud. Apparently Moriarty was a drug induced hallucination this entire time.
Siege 3. SW! Life on the wall sucks for everyone.
Quake 1. Another SHIELD 50th anniversary Oneshot. One where Cap recruits Daisy to be part of his Avengers squad way back in 2010.
Darth Vader 9. Vader continues to look for whomever took the secret imperial gold. (Shhhh...Vader did it. He's looking for himself.)
Star Wars Shattered Empire 1. Apparently after the DS II blew up and Palpatine and Vader died, the Empire did not just roll over quietly 10 minutes later. Who knew?
I was totally gonna troll that last entry and say Thrawn shows up and make up a bunch of shit just so you guys would flip your hamburgers. Lol.

Thanks for the well wishing.
I didn't get my copy of DD18 either. He's been a week late on that particular title before though, so I'm not actively seeking a copy until after my next visit. I've missed the odd SW book here & there, but I will purposefully seek out the Hydra one-shot.
