there's always "only two" except for the side-piece they each train to help them kill the other one.

The rule of two-ish.

Tommy, definitely read Darth Plagueis if you get the chance. Best SW book, and it's not close. It manages to fix almost every plot issue in the Prequels.
Also spoiler but fuck it.

Like the plot hole where Qui-Gon could’ve just force suggested a Han Solo type pilot to fly him and Padme back to Coruscant and then sent another ship back with a hyperdrive to get everybody else? Probably would’ve even saved time because they wouldn’t have to wait the extra few days for Boonta Eve to roll around.
Sorry, we just rewatched TPM a couple days ago and I started finding plot holes I had forgotten all over again.
They could’ve just taken Shmi with them. By the time they got to Coruscant, if Watto were dumb enough to follow them, what would his case have been? Slavery is illegal on Coruscant. They’d toss the case immediately.

We are also attempting a rewatch of Clone Wars. I wanted to start on like season 5 so I don’t get stalled halfway thru for the fourth or fifth time.
But my wife found a “continuity order” list so we are gonna try that. 2.17, 1.17, movie, 3.1, 3.3 etc. Wish me luck.

Are we done with spoiler tags for The Acolyte yet?
Who exactly is the "good guy"? The twins? One went Sith, the other was neuralyzed. (Didn't know the Sith had those neuralyzers from Men in Black.) . Sol? He went all Bryan Adams (everything I do, I do it for you). Vernestra basically proves that the Senator is correct in believing the Jedi need oversight. Then again, I suppose that is the point. There isn't a good guy, it is a Sith origin story.

So there are planets with bedsheets and plaid pillowcases and suburbs and traffic and boring Earth shit in the Star Wars universe? That doesn’t seem exciting at all. This Goonies vibe isn’t instilling me with a lot of joy.

I'm feeling more of The Explorers than Goonies vibes.
But with John Watts and Jude Law, I'm in.

Eh, the "suburb" look didn't bother me. It's not really been shown onscreen much (if at all), but that sort of neighborhood has appeared in books and video games quite a bit.

Skeleton Crew so far is turning out to be a blast. They nailed the 80s vibe.

I'll probably start it this weekend. Still need to watch the new Deadpool, too.

I'm digging it, but if I were 7-12 years old, this would be fucking amazing.

I'm going to use spoilers for this one. If it isn't necessary, let me know.
Ok, so the robot pirate name is SM-33...Smee, like Peter Pan?
I was reading something else saying that the name of the boy who challenges the girl to a race is based off of the name of Harrison Ford's character from American Graffiti.

I'm way behind on Skeleton Crew.
There was a Star Wars Marathon on TV last week. I might hate The Last Jedi more now than when it came out. The Resistance Bombers have to be one of the dumbest designs for a ship in Star Wars. Also, how did Rose catch up to Finn and why did she think a high speed collision in a speeder would be the right way to save him? I lost track of how many times ships did some sort of drift spin/turn to either attack or get around objects. [/pointlessrant]
