Yeah, I didn't figure out what "Odd Mii Out" meant until finally Mrs A did and told me. That was the ones in the crowd shots. It took even longer to figure out the later ones where they're walking (and you have to pick the one who's out of step).

BTW, if you get asked to "Pick a Favorite," I advise picking the most distinctive Mii on the screen. I won't tell you why, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

Hoo hah! Double post!! For a change, I'll say suck it, Batman!!

If you want Wii Fit and have Costco membership, they've got it for $79.99. They also seemed to (as they normally do) order a lot more than many other stores.

Triple? You mods are getting weak. Probably all the cocksucking you do.

Wii Fit is definitely worth picking up, especially if you're bad about working out regularly. Something about it doesn't seem like you're actually exercising. And it's funny to run on a course with Vyn and Rollo and two different Leias. (I didn't realize games would take Miis from the Wii Parade that you haven't actually downloaded to your system to use, but this is the second game to do so recently.)

One friendly word of warning, though: the running games don't use the balance board, and ask you to put the WiiMote in your pocket (kinda like a step counter). The screen tells you that, if you don't have pockets, you can hold it. Don't. Change into pants with pockets. If you hold it, it's amazingly inaccurate. I found that having it in your pocket is spot-on, though.

We bought it, but haven't played it yet because our TV is getting repaired. Hopefully we'll have it back today.

Keep in mind, though, that the BMI calculations are apparently all jacked up for kids. Not that they can't play it, but don't put much stock in the BMI it gives for them. (Apparently there's already one idiot lady in Europe who wants to sue Nintendo because her daughter grew but she didn't change the height, so it told her she was obese; never mind the fucking manual tells you it's inaccurate for anyone under 19 or so.)

We heard it doesn't work for kids. She hasn't played Wii much lately. That will probably change because my wife wants to buy her that $20 Disney Princess Wii game for her birthday in August.

How ironic that the kid friendly system has a game that isn't designed for kids. :)

Are you gonna let your kids play Godfather: Black Hand?

they've never said it was designed for kids. all their marketing is geared towards the moms. kids will want it no matter what. but if the moms don't want it in their house, it's not going in the house. now they're expressly going for the mom market.

I played wii fit last night and it was awesome. I have to get a wii now. Maybe it isn't the greatest workout, but as a "before work in the morning" gig it'll do nicely to get you stretched and get your heart going. A lot of people are going to have problems with the BMI. The best indicator is body fat percentage, but unless you lift weights regularly, BMI is a fairly good indicator of your fitness level.

Circuit City looks like the only store with decent videogame deals (or deals, period) for Memorial Day. I picked up Blazing Angels for $9.99. Also scored Curb Your Enthusiasm 6 at half price for $17.50. :yeaha:

Question about Wii Fit (and it looks like the game is still so new that no one else has figured it out):

Pages 17-18 of the manual are a map of Wii Fit Island (the island you're running around on jogging challenges). It appears to be there because the fourth jogging mode is Free Jogging, and you can choose your path rather than follow another Mii.

In the bottom left corner, it shows the NES versions of Mario, Luigi, the star, a super mushroom, a Goomba, and a green Koopa, and says, "Try to find all 15 of these marks scattered around the island."

I've not found any (I just unlocked Free Jogging this morning, and wasn't up to a 10-minute session after completing the Island Lap again--about twelve minutes of jogging), but does anyone have an idea if they unlock something cool? In other words, are they just there to see, or is there a reason to go and hunt them?
