They have a TON of books on site, including lot of Silver Age Marvels including ASM 39 & 40 - the first 2 Romita issues in which we find out GG is Normal Osborn. Sexy. I will have to return with my lists & a box of stuff I've been putting off selling in hopes of getting myself some credit.

And at the last table I splurged and bought Power Man Annual 1 for $11 and Flash Iron Heights Oneshot for $6. The PM annual has an early Punisher appearance and the Flash book the last book I needed for a full Flash run from post-Crisis on.
I also got a Savage Hulk Oneshot from 1996 and
Joker's Asylum II: Riddler. So now I'm only missing the Harley Quinn issue. Which at this point considering she's DCs version of Deadpool is gonna be fucking impossible to find at a rational price.

But now I can start properly sorting all my new stuff. It's June 1. My goal is to be sorted, alphabetized, and logged in both my notebook and cbdb.com by June 30. That's 31 long boxes in 31 days.

As I'm alphabetizing again(I'm on letter 'P' already so I'm making decent progress) I've got several Variant Marvel issues that are the blank covers you can take to conventions and have artists sketch you a unique cover. I find them in the quarter bins because they are no longer pristine white covers and are usually covered with black smudges from rubbing up against other books in the boxes.
But I have discovered a regular old pink eraser gets about 99% of that smudge off since the books are designed to be drawn on. So what were once dirty covers are almost completely new and white again.
I'm not sure if I would ever take them and get them drawn on.

I have purchased a few of those over the years - usually because it's the only version of the first printing left in stock. I've never had one drawn on either - not sure if I'd feel the urge to find another copy if I did or not.

I had to get some more boards for sorting yesterday, and while in the shop I went through the 50 cent boxes and came away with 44 books.
I'll attempt to integrate these as I start the writing down phase (which with any luck will start later today. I'm up thru 'X' and theres only about 20-30 issues left) but if not, I'm just leaving them for the next round in a year or two.

On the 4th of July, one of the LCS' had a sale. 25 cents apiece and if you bought 50 or more they dropped to 10 cents.
I went through the boxes they had and came away with 320 books.
Then, as I was finishing up the guy told another customer the 4 long boxes over there were also part of the sale. 4 long boxes filled with Nu52 stuff. So I racked up another 350 books.
I had to "buy" 2 long boxes just to cart everything away, but when I went to tally the books he said gimme $60 and we'll call it even.
So assuming I "paid" the $5 each for the long boxes, I scored almost 700 comics for $50.

Last Sunday, I went to yet another local Con. This one was more of a straight up Con instead of just a dealer show unusually go to, so there were more dealers than usual. And hot chicks cosplaying.
I ended up with 250 books I bought at five different tables. I mostly paid 50 cents a book. But slightly less because when you have an uneven amount of books the guys'll just round down to the nearest $10.
At one table I paid $1 each but still got a bargain because his $1 box was mismarked and had some nice Batman books in it.

At table one I got 61 books.

My buddy sent me the SDCC Marvel Legends exclusive set today. But he also sent me an unexpected box of comics he no longer wanted.
It was almost 200 books, mostly Nu52 stuff.
