I made him when the Mii channel had a contest for an angry boss. There must not have been enough Spiderman fans voting that day.

Re: Nintendo Wii
Well I've sent back the most beautiful Mii I've made so far - that being myself.
I also submitted a blonde, fat LemMii for consideration in the 80's Rock Star competition.

Re: Nintendo Wii
We never added the Everybody Votes Channel. It seemed kinda... eh.
I picked up Spider-Man: Friend or Foe on clearance for $19.98 at Target yesterday in Vegas. Once I get home, I'll let you fools know how it is.
And I'll add MrBlack Reason to my friends.

Re: Nintendo Wii
it's alright, but better for kiddies. if you enjoyed batman: rise of sun tzu, you'll probably get a kick out of this one. i haven't had the opportunity to play it much, but my wife's cousin's kid enjoyed the hell out of it.anarky wrote:I picked up Spider-Man: Friend or Foe on clearance for $19.98 at Target yesterday in Vegas. Re: Nintendo Wii
I meant to stop buying games. Really, I did.
The TRU just southwest of me is apparently going out of business, and had all their games for 40% off. Well, all their remaining games. The only Wii game left that I saw and had any interest in was Ninja Reflex, a collection of mini-games, which I always thought looked cool but not worth the $30 normal price.
Sadly, they didn't have Speed Racer left. Other TRU's have marked it down to $29.99 already. Were it $18, I would've jizzed my pants right there in the store.
Speaking of Speed Racer and the TRU that's closing, if mabs stops by here, I picked up a sweet little trinket there for practically nothing and am going to drop it in the mail with the Mabu-Con package....

'Kay, JJ, I've added you to my friends list.
You need to get Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii.

Re: Nintendo Wii
I've got my sights set on MarioKart, as soon as my SW sales make me another few bucks I'll have it and 2 steering wheels.

Re: Nintendo Wii
Skip buying a second steering wheel at first. See how you like the controls using the nunchuk. Trust me. I could've saved $10 by not getting a second wheel.

Re: Nintendo Wii
Okay, copy that. I DO need a 2nd chuk and a classic controller yet so I'll save on the 2nd wheel for awhile.anarky wrote:Skip buying a second steering wheel at first. See how you like the controls using the nunchuk. Trust me. I could've saved $10 by not getting a second wheel.

Re: Nintendo Wii
Oh, and get WiiPlay for your next controller. It's a few dollars more than the controller by itself.
Also, if TRU in Canada runs the same sort of sales they do here, they often have "Buy 1, Get 1 Half Off" sales. You can get WiiPlay half off, whereas the trick doesn't work on a controller by itself.

Re: Nintendo Wii
That's a good deal. I did get Wii Play for my 2nd controller, I just never ponied up for a second 'chuk to go with it.
I have Rayman & Meet the Robinsons for the kids as well - they're pretty brutal (but the Rayman cracks me up, I must admit).

Re: Nintendo Wii
Damn, I'm starting to accumulate games faster than I can devote time to playing them... I have to stop, even when I see killer deals.
We had a $5 off coupon from TRU good today only, so we stopped by to pick up Speed Racer ($29.99). Mrs A really wanted that game, no lie. While there, I saw Zack & Wiki was down to $9.98, and everything I've heard about it says it's reminiscent of the old Sierra adventure games, so I couldn't pass that up.
