No, you're not. I already mentioned the bit after the dredits and it wasn't an "alternate" ending, just an extra little bit (But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't mean alternate).

Any film in which Mr Fat (hee hee!) uses a sword or gun is, by default, a great movie.

This explains why Anna and the King sucked so hard despite his starring role.

In POTC3, he will use both sword and gun.

And then all of them get saved by a drunken, horny Joan Jett and her new all hot, all naked nubile co-ed back up band from Nazis.
