Something about a casino in that one.
The dude that designed the Death Star had a bloody eye.
And James Bond got was tied naked to a chair and hit in the balls with a knotted rope.

Billie Eilish’s new Bond song. Following the recent trend of slow ass Bond themes. I actually like this one better than Skyfall and whatever Sam Smith’s snoozefest was called.
But ’You Know My Name’ and ‘Another Way To Die’ are still the gold standards.

Is there any lingering plot stuff to deal with or is this a stand alone? I'm having trouble getting started on my re-re-watch of the first few.

The blonde chick he saved in the last movie and Christoph Waltz were both in the trailer, so I’m guessing it’s continuing from where Spectre ended.

I literally might not have seen Spectre. I have it here to watch so that is a must-do before the new one comes out.

No Time To Die just got pushed back to November because of the Coronavirus. Apparently the producers were afraid worldwide Box Office would underperform if everyone was staying home and not going to theaters because they were afraid of getting sick.

We’ve been waiting for this movie for like three years, and before it even comes out, the internet manages to spoil it for me.
Fuck off, general public. At least give it a week, you shitbags.

Haven't been spoiled, but I'm in the midst of my rewatch. Remembered Casino fairly well, but it was like I had never seen Quantum of Solace before. Into Skyfall now & hoping to be caught up and in the theatre in the next few days.

Everyone says Quantum is the weakest of Craig’s Bond films, but for me I think Spectre was the dullest of them. Maybe the expectations of having Spectre and Blofeld finally show up were too high, but it didn’t deliver the excitement for me.
And the wait time between movies…Daniel Craig has actually been 007 longer than any other actor, even though he had less entries than Connery and Moore.

Watched Spectre last night & enjoyed it. That's 3 "good" and one "not good" in my books. I'm fine with how they tied James to Blofeld, even though I would have hated it for being too contrived if you had tipped me off to it beforehand. Spectre almost seemed like it had a Craig-era-ending ending, I hope I don't get that Breaking Bad season 5 feeling from No Time to Die.

James Bond is no longer in Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
Which he has been since the first novel was released…one year after Elizabeth was coronated.

The entire 007 run has been on Amazon Prime this month, so I’ve been doing a rewatch over the last few weekends. I just finished both of Dalton’s films.
Over the years my least favorite film has changed a few times. Golden Gun and Moonraker have been up there, as well as Diamonds are Forever. But this time I think it was Octopussy.
Octopussy was the first one I saw on the big screen, so I’ve always had a soft spot for it. The gags were extremely clever to a nine year old, but adult me was getting annoyed with all the Indian themed gags in the bazaar fight, like the hot coals, the bed of nails, sword swallower, etc. Likewise his escape thru the jungle with all the wold animals(and the fucking Tarzan yell. Oof.) But fun fact about Octopussy. When Bond is dressed as a clown and he’s trying to disarm the nuclear bomb, he runs thru a crowd of clowns, one of whom gets mistaken for Bond’s clown and gets detained by the military police. The guy in the clown make up was Christopher Reeve, who was filming Superman III nearby and dropped in to make a cameo.
Also, reading the trivia, they’d been trying to get Dalton to play Bond as early as the mid 70s. He’d either turned them down because he felt he was too young for the role, or his schedule wasn’t open. But can you imagine if Dalton had been Bond for 5-6 movies instead of just two? And Moore had only done a couple?
