At this point, I figure every new Storm Shadow is a new generic Cobra ninja (I display Stormy as a Joe; he was never evil in the comic), and figure each new Snake Eyes is a bunch of overpriced ninja weapons for other people. (Okay, some of the new SE's are improvements over earlier ones.)

There have been so damned many Fireflies, I'm not even sure who the last two were. Are you counting the one with the shitty motorcycle?

I did army-build the fuck out of Renegades Firefly. (Okay, I bought three.) He looks so unlike Firefly, he makes a nice generic.

I meant the Renegades and the POC Green Goblin-looking version. Forgot all about the motorcycle.

The Firefly I got from the flea market recently turned out to be the pilot from the ROC gunship. He's missing the helmet and vest. According to YOJOE, he is just a repaint of the 25th version. They have 11 Fireflies since 2007 (2 in 2008, 4 in 2009, & 2 in 2010). It is easy to see how you're tired of him. I'm just glad I've been picky.

I used the flight gear the ROC Gunship one came with and loaded him with Marauders weapons to make a totally different-looking figure.

I would've army-built the POC version if I'd seen more. That alternate head is fucking awesome.

:frus: Its been a long time since I bought anything from ebay. Tried and failed to buy this lot. Winning bid was $31 + $12 S&H. :frus:

Damn, that sucks. :( That's a nice lineup. A bit random for someone to be getting rid of (I see Renegades Firefly and Ripcord, along with the impossible-to-find Crazylegs and brand spanking new Dollar General Duke). There might actually be a few accessories missing, but, still, for that price, that's nice.

I really wanted that Shipwreck and ROC Firefly. I don't have Lift Ticket and the extra Viper would have been nice.

I'm going to be keeping my eye on some other things.

I told my wife that she could sell some of my sports cards and Star Wars figures on ebay if she figured out how to do it. Probably won't happen as neither of us know where to start.

On the positive side, eBay is constantly giving you fresh chances to find great deals.

That lineup still is bugging me. The seller couldn't have had that Duke for more than a couple of months, at most. And some of the stuff (Snow Job, Storm Shadow) are pretty old. And then there's Recondo, who only came in the online exclusive 7-pack.

If that's bugging you, there is a guy selling a loose Shadow Tracker for $0.99. Well, he also is selling loose complete Wedge, Tarkin, Imperial Naval Officer, & all 6 individual figures from both new Target 3 packs. Why would anyone buy a new figure, open it up, and instantly sell it on ebay?

That makes a little more sense. He pays, what, $25 for the Target 3-pack. Most people only want Snaggletooth. He puts it on eBay, and it goes for $15 or thereabouts by itself. Meanwhile, the other two are both fairly high-demand characters, even if they've been done to death. He sells each for, let's say, $6, which is a bargain for the people wanting just those figures. So he's at $27 already, and then he charges more for handling than it really costs, and makes money.

He's also got the Cobra Black Dragon and pilot loose. He probably got them on sale, let's say for $15. You get someone who wants just the figure, they'll pay $7 for it, no question. Then someone else wants the vehicle, isn't too concerned about the figure, and thinks half price ($10) is a steal.

As for the HTF SW figures, I'm not sure. I've heard loose figures actually outsell carded sometimes, but this doesn't make sense. Maybe he somehow got review copies or something, or bought them to review on his YouTube channel, and is getting rid of them.

It might be something as simple as the seller is strapped for cash.

Or maybe, "I'm never going to get rid of this fucking Mutt figure. Oh, wait, I have Crazylegs, and I saw Duke at Dollar General just now...."

My "25th Ann and beyond" collection of Joes is pretty sparse and eclectic. Most of 'em are from the 2-packs I bought on clearance just to get the comics. I got a Snake-Eyes, Mail Away Doc, SDCC Podium CC. And Lowlight. I bought him just cause he looked badass.
But if threw them all up on eBay, you'd be going 'Wtf kinda collection is that? Battle damage Stormshadow with MOC SDCC CC and Lowlight? That makes no sense!'

No, because Low-Light looks badass, and I'd assume your collection would make sense.

Only a completist bought that fucking Duke. I say that with one in the next room, still in the package, because I'm debating whether to keep it (and, if so, whether to use him for parts) or trade him for something better.

 :P

Might go after this one even though he's charging $20 for shipping. I don't have over half of them, but more importantly, there is a ROC Pit Commando and Spirit. I fully expect to be out bid on this one because of that.
