I was just thinking how badass last year’s divisional weekend was. Each game got successfully better. First you had the Bengals knock off the 1-seed Titans. Then a nail biting comeback from the Rams over the Bucs in what, at the time, was Brady’s final game. Then the epic shoot out between the Bills and Chiefs. And finally, the Niners coming into Green Bay in the snow for the shocking upset.

This week so far has been pretty milquetoast. The Jags were never really contenders, and NY got embarrassed. The Vikings would’ve put up more of a fight. Hell, the Lions would’ve made it closer if the refs hadn’t pooched that Rams/Hawks game so badly.

Poor Buffalo. I know Josh Allen is young, but things are only going to get harder for the Bills over the next few years in the AFC. There are some GOOD young QBs on that side these days.

I quit watching the game at halftime. You can tell they just didn't have anything left in them after an emotional year. The game plan kind of sucked, and you have to be prepared playing against a team as good as the Bengals.

Congrats to Andy Reid. That's about the only positive thing I can think of to type in here. Kansas saved by borderline yet game changing calls 2 games running should be the lead story. For a close game, I never felt super engaged.

I thought all the “floating” platforms for the halftime show was nifty. But I didn’t understand her outfit. Is she pregnant?

The flag football commercial was the best one of this year’s crop. But I giggled at Dom Toretto driving down the side of the Hoover Dam.

I had no skin in the game and no strong feelings one way or the other. I felt there were some shitty calls that benefited both sides at points in the game.

Rihanna's people confirmed the "special guest" she mentioned was baby #2 - no wonder her husband goes by A$AP - baby #1 just came out in May.

Was surprised she went with the Kanye song what with his personal life imploding & whatnot. I don't think she sang one word of any of it live.

I was listening to sports radio this morning on my way into work. A phase was uttered by one of the hosts that I don't ever recall hearing before. He said the Lions are expected to win the NFC North.

That's all I'm seeing/hearing about the Lions this year.
They've made some good, significant changes in the offseason.

I still can't support them until the jackass Ford family sells the team.

The Lions are the only NFC team to not have a SB appearance.

The AFC has three or four teams. And I think they’re all expansion teams(if you count the Browns as an expansion)

Poor Cleveland - watching the Ravens win that Superbowl must have sucked. I don't think the new Browns have ever been worth a shit, have they? Maybe one season?

I looked it up. Since coming back in ‘99 they’ve had three winning seasons; ‘02(9-7),‘07(10-6) and ‘20(11-5).

If you invested $1 at the beginning of the season on a Detroit/Cleveland SuperBowl, if it ever pays off you’d never have to work again.
