Is that a prototype or the real thing? How can they leave the character off the card?

That's the real card. Each figure is on that same card, with a different white sticker telling you who it is.

EBAYERS BEWARE - Scalpers are trying to sell these as prototypes. More like shit-otypes.

Why do they do this for their Canadian lines, as they also seem to do with SW sometimes? You'd think it would almost be easier to just use the US cards, since the designs are already done anyway.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

They have to have French text in the Great Frozen North.

But, yeah, it would still seem more cost effective to use the same artwork with new text.

For that matter, given the number of Spanish-speaking folks in the USA, it would probably be more cost effective to use the tri-lingual cards everywhere.

I say fuck 'em. Darth Vader should be the same in every language (even though I know it isn't for some reason).
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

The simple answer is to print stickers for the international stuff - ones that come off without residue like those they use for hardcover books. That would solve a multitude of fucking problems (and likely money for them as well), but why do anything that makes sense?

Anyone get "original" single-carded Storm Shadow? Mine came with no bow - was it supposed to?

I don't know. But you'll recall my carded Cobra Officer was missing his knife. Looks like a significant quality-control problem.

That fucking blows. I did some checking around - it looks like Stormshadow from the boxed set came with a bow, as does GI Joe Storm Shadow. The one I have, from what I can tell, has arrows and a bow ON the package.... but none IN the package. Fuck sakes.

He is bitchen, though. Is that still a word?

Got me a Destro too, so now I'm at 3 Cobras to only 2 Joes, with 3 more Cobras on the way this week (Zartan, a Cobra Trooper and Buzzer). :bats:

Found the Ace/Wild Weasel comic pack with the #115 reprint (still need Useless Destro Repaint/Breaker and Ripper/Buzzer), as well as the new Tomax/Xamot, Silent Castle Snake Eyes/Silent Castle Storm Shadow, and Scarred Cobra Officer/Fred Series Crimson Guardsman with the new Hama comics today.

I'm really looking forward to reading these three books. New stories penned by Hama, set within the original Marvel series.... Shit, that's going to rock!

I really hope that they make a new set with Kwinn and Arctic Stalker or Scarlett, and Billy with just about anyone, with new comics filling in Kwinn's change of heart in #2 and how Billy escaped his last brainwashing.

I haven't seen any of the new battlepacks yet. Not that I'd buy them anyway. I just think they are cool to look at. I'm just waiting to buy Torpeedo and Rock N' Roll.

Actually, this smile would come in handy...pun intended.

I'm just hoping we get an updated Kwinn figure, maybe in a comic pack that has "cut scenes" from issue #2.

I have had a permanent erection since seeing the Arctic Snake Eyes figure. You can overdo a character, but not when you put him in a parka with a weasel skull necklace!
