Why not annoying to collectors also? Why did I have to buy another Agen Kolar who is no different from the last one they put out and who was no different than Eeth Koth?

Is there any reason as to why that Target TIE Fighter has red windows?

The new Agen Kolar has a new head and more articulation; I needed one for my Geonosis display, so I like it, even though his skirt is too short. The 2002 Eeth Koth is basically a statue in a pose he never made, so I'd like a more neutral one of him at some point, too. On a similar note, Plo Koon is a really nice figure; the extra articulation adds a lot to him. The new Chewie has the Millennium Falcon headset, which is a version I've wanted for a while. The new Han has a pretty good headsculpt (though a bit big) and it's certainly better than the 2001 stormtrooper belt version. I like new, improved versions of things, but I know some people don't.

They looked like that in Shadows of the Empire. The toy itself is actually really damn cool; the red isn't as harsh as it looked on the Comic Con slide, and the center pod has been completely updated inside and out. This might go along with the aforementioned fact that I like new, improved versions of things, but some people (many of whom are on this site) are fine with older versions or would rather buy never-before-made stuff, but that item list is pretty damn short by now.
Check it out; it's pretty impressive.

Yeesh, man, it's not that I don't want an improved TIE Fighter, but I wish they wouldn't fix it a bit at a time, and that they wouldn't make it perfect except for the silly EU cockpit. Prequels and their Clonetrooper marketing aside, the Empire never seemed like the sort of organization to allow any deviation from the standard designs.

I hadn't really looked at this TIE until recently. I noticed Target is starting to clear them out, but it is still $27. Hard to spend more money on a ship when I just got the X-Wing.

They're only $27? I thought they were more?! If they're that cheap and they still have some would it be possible to grab one in decent shape for me and I can PayPal you or something? Perhaps pay with tales of adventure?

I wasn't ragging on you, but you yourself have said that you would rather have all-new stuff (i.e. Jabba's Sail Barge) rather than new versions of existing stuff (i.e. an AT-AT). It was also covering the fact that kidhuman doesn't want several Agen Kolars or Han Solos.

She's trying to snowball you. She finished me off and I told her to give it to you because Bizzaro The Grin would find it funny.

I'll try, but I can't make any promises. It was at a Target I don't normally go to. I'll have to check my "normal" Targets this weekend.
Also, thanks to the economy, there isn't much work in town which means my company is sending me out of town again (possibly starting Monday).

If they are going to spend money on making re-hashed figures with 2 more pieces of srticulation, then dont bitch about making new figures and spending money on molds. Give us the new stuff. I can bet a lot of people have bought the figures they dont want just to complete the fuckin droid.

I picked up the Octopura Droid for 10 bucks at WM and the AT-ST for 20.

Went to a few different Targets this weekend. All of them had at least 5 TIEs. Each store had one box that was slightly smashed. I'm betting that the price drops on them again. If it does, I'll grab one for you, Slicker.
Strange find of the weekend: The Target near my house had 5 POTJ Bespin Guards for $1.16 each. I bought 2. The cards aren't in that great of shape.

That's interesting. I'm guessing someone bought the new Bespin Guard to replace the old one, and returned those. Was the UPC still the same, or did someone fuck with it? I'd have a hard time believing those are still in the system nine years later.
