Ever go to a website that has all these words underlined, and if you scroll the mouse over the word, it pops up this stupid ad for some bullshit that's not even related to the page?

I know there are a lot of spyware programs that will do this, but a lot of sites have the ads on their own. Rebelscum has this, as do TheForce and YoJoe. It's incredibly annoying, since these are all sites you have to scroll through. You can't not scroll over one of these fucking ads. I hate that whenever someone uses the word "picture," it becomes an ad for celebrity pics.

It's so fucking annoying that I avoid these sites whenever possible. Sure, they might get some revenue for letting the company put this shit on their site (most of them appear to be through a company called Vibrant), but is it effective if it chases away readers?

I was at another comic newsite where they had a breakdown of the writers and artists on the 'Endangered Species" backup feature running through all the X-Books over the next few months.

X-Factor #23 has Chapter 11 of the crossover, and sure enough, there was a link to some Restructure your Business Debt without resorting to bankruptcy or a loan.

Too fucking funny. Everybody knows comic book readers are fiscally solvent.
