That car crash scene was so friggin awesome, but it would've been cooler if they hadn't shown it in the trailer. Imagine sitting in the theatre watching this tender moment unfold between these two, and you get yourself into that sort of psychological "romance/dialogue" mode, and then BAM! CAR! Now you know it's coming cause you saw it in the trailer.

Doc Ock looks the shizz! Too many generic web swinging shots for my tastes (some of them almost look recycled from the first movie) but all in all, this movie will giant ass!!

Spoiler Free doesn't apply to SpiderMan.

I am Episode III Spoiler Free though. All my Insiders still have plastic on them. I don't look at Starwars.com anymore. I skip the news articles at Darkhorizons.com as fast as I can. Now if they would only put the SW action figures in a different aisle from the Marvel Legends and Muppets, I wouldn't even have to look at those when they come out. It's going to be hard avoiding the trailers and I WILL break down and buy the soundtrack since that's the only thing I can really enjoy about the whole franchise anymore. but I shan't look at the track titles....

i am so glad the trailer was playing with return of the king... i had an idea, since they released it a few days before the movie opened, but i didn't want to get my hopes up.

Anyone catch the first seven minutes of the movie they had online yesterday? Big Peter/Green Goblin fight. And some touchy feely shit with MJ and Aunt May too. But mostly big fight.

Yeah, Harry could kick Norman's ass hard, given the way he was fighting.

...Harry dies seven minutes into the film, that could explain how they'll fit three villains in. I seem to recall a scene of something exploding in Harry's face, though, which wasn't in this preview.

Well, from what I gather Harry is incapacitated for most of the movie because of that first fight. ( Coma?) then he comes back and SAVES Peter in the end, but dies doing it. This gives Peter enough time to recover and beat Venom.

not really a spoiler- I'd heard months ago that harry "wasn't really in the film" and I swear I even read that he'd be taken clean out Dooku-style...

I imagine the "main" Villain will be Sandman- the character Bruce Campbell is to play would be best suited to sort of background intrigue- I think some of them scenes with Uncle Ben in 'em might VERY well be to do with the Campbell role, the whole "illusion" thing, but the way the films have been so far, I could see that role being REAL small sceen-time wise, but important nonetheless- who knows, maybe Campbell will somehow even BE the other villain through SFX trickery- I'm thinkin it should be a fine film, despite my hating Venom

Speaking of the black spunk-gobbet, is he REALLY gonna fight in this film, or will it be more like he finally gets "free" at the end, setting up the NEXT film as the "real" Venom feature?? I think that might be the case, but it's only based on little bits I've picked up
