Anyone else think it's a bad sign that this went so totally under the radar? I didn't see ads for it until late last week, and it comes out in two days. There are no reviews yet, which makes me think it wasn't screened for critics. Looks like the studio realized this was a chunk of horseshit. Word is, it's so bad that Jason Lee has been fired from My Name Is Earl and will be digitally removed from all future DVD releases of Mallrats.
Kinda sad. As with Garfield, I grew up watching these guys, and now someone makes a fucktastically bad movie now that I'm too old to give a shit. At least if they were making decent movies, I could see them with my kids someday.
