Giuliani fucking scares me

Man, I'd rather keep politics away from here, but the dude scares me. No shit. He seems like a great guy to have a beer with, and a good leader at the local level.
But I'm watching the debate, and he is such a crazed warmonger, he makes Cheney look like an amateur.

And that's where 1/2 of his vocabulary comes from.
I gotta say, if Ron Paul got the Republican nomination, I'd seriously consider voting for him. Unfortunately, I have this feeling he's like the Kucinich of his party.

Ron Paul has a few things I don't agree with, like ending birthright citizenship (apparently some Mexicans come here just to have their babies so the kids can have rights and whatnot; why not just stop pregnant ladies from coming over?). If he were to run against Obama, though, that would be a dream come true, since I would be fine with either choice (though that's not going to happen).
I didn't see the Republican half of the debate but I saw most of the Democratic one. Really not a whole lot we haven't heard before, but whatever.

The Republicans were mostly Huckabee and Romney attacking one another, Giuliani spouting the words "9-11" a lot and talking about how he wants to bomb everyone into nothingness, Fred Thompson looking like a bulldog and sounding half as smart, and Ron Paul occasionally getting a word in.
Right now, I think I'd rank the candidates (having nothing to do with viability):
1) Obama
2) Edwards
3) Richardson
4) Paul
5) Clinton
And then it gets tough....
6) Romney. He plays dirty, and I don't respect that. He's intelligent, though, and beats Huckabee slightly due more to one thing about Huckabee that bothers me.
7) Huckabee. An ordained minister who supports any war is a hypocrite. You can say it's justified, even necessary, but not that you support it.

McCain. He's proven himself to be a bigger hypocrite and politico even than Clinton. Still, he's less scary than...
9) Giuliani
10) Thompson
Yeah, that's right. Thompson is lower than Giuliani. He doesn't fucking scare me, though, since he has less chance than a snowball on Mustafar.

Even if I have problems with Romney and Huckabee, they both seem sincere, which I can respect. I'd rather have a leader who I disagree with but can respect than a lout who I agree with. I used to think the same way about McCain in 1999 and 2000, but over the years since he's proven that he will change his position to match the wind. Like Clinton.
Clinton is also kind of stupid for continually referring to Bill's presidency as "we." Doesn't she realize that most people who hate her do so because they perceived her as a shadow president for eight years?

It seems like all (or at least) most of the candidates on both sides are crackin' down on the borders, but Romney might be taking it farther and punishing people who are already here (not sure).
The issues that are most important to me are ending the war in Iraq responsibly but quickly (not just saying, "well, we'll continue to see how it goes") and energy independence. That's just me, though.

9 of the 11 candidates have no choice of winning...
Of the two truly viable candidates, I think Rudy will win a close race by at least 911,000 votes nationwide.

I'd like to thank all the dumb fucks in New Hampshire. Your wasted vote is appreciated. Go play in traffic now. The rest of us would appreciate you not wasting our oxygen anymore.
If anyone thinks Hillary can get voters in the middle and beat any of the Republicans, they're sorely mistaken. I'd be hard-pressed to vote for her. And nothing to do with gender. I just don't trust her phony ass.
Maybe it'll come down to Hillary and McCain and be the Battle of the Habitually Lying Career Politicians. And it won't matter which one wins because they're really the same.
