while a little biased toward british characters, it's rather well-formed... of course i'd put spidey above all else, but that's for my top-50 list, i guess ;)

Superman being number 1 is solely based on his "iconicism" or whatever the fuck you'd call it. To me he's a simple hick douche with a BORING-ASSED secret identity that simply can't breach the suspension of disbelief gap. Give me Parker & Banner any day of the week over Kal-El.

To put Midnighter & Apollo (from "The Authority") together is a bit odd. They're essentially Supes & Bats embroiled in an (overt, this time as opposed to DC's implied :lol: ) gay relationship. They're completely separate.... and Jonathon Hawksmoor (a British character no less and pictured below) is WAAAAY more interesting, violent and completely fucking awesome. Who can figure those Brits out? :???:
