This is less for me to share a minor medical problem with you, and more a heads-up. I've gotten these things for years and years, and never knew what the hell they are. I've always called them "throat boogers," since I assumed until a few years back that they were dried mucus that came in from the nasal passages via the throat. As I said, until a few years back: that's when I looked in my throat to see what it was that I was feeling, and could see them protruding from my tonsils. I actually took a q-tip soaked in hot water and scraped off what I could see, and pressed more out with the q-tip.

Tonight, I've got some in both my tonsils again, and was looking online to see if I could find anything about the damned things, and how to prevent them. It looks like they're far more common than I expected, though it seems a majority of doctors and dentists are still not even aware of their existence.

Just thought it anyone else has ever had these fuckers, you might appreciate a link to some info on them.

tonsil zits? ewwwwwww! I went through a period of getting regular tonsilitis which occasionally threatened to morph into glandular fever. My doc told me to take Paracetamol tablets the moment i got a sore throat and that has stopped me getting it. I think Paracetamol is Acetaminophen over there. one of the simplest over the counter drugs but so damn effective.

Double_G's pappy one time got 'em real bad. He hocked one up, and it turned out it was Double_G's brother, Triple_R! I tell y'all, it was embarrassing to have to call up the cops and tell them we'd found the boy, time to call off the search.

Got four of the fuckers out today. That's pretty damned bad. The first one and second one together would've been more than enough to block a nostril. The other two were rather small. But, dude, out of one fucking tonsil? That's some sick shit.
