I could start a massive riot with this....

Most of my wife's family in the US (on her father's side) is redneck. Really redneck. Some are even to the "we don't like people with dark skin" level of redneck. My family is pretty redneck, too. Mostly not that bad.
There's a thing going around Facebook that I've seen people on both sides of the family post:
"flood Facebook with this!!!!... I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands: one Nation under GOD, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. REPOST IF YOU THINK GOD, OUR COUNTRY, AND OUR FLAG DESERVE RESPECT!! Let's see how many Americans will repost."
Obviously, I could point out that the capitalization would cause a second grader to fail a test. I could try to point out the inherent stupidity in trying to put emphasis on flag, nation, liberty, and justice by capitalizing them, but failing to capitalize Republic, which, in this sense, probably should be capitalized.
But, no. These are people who think that socialist=communist=democrat=anti-American, and honestly don't realize that the National Socialists simply using the word "Socialist" in their title doesn't make them any more socialist than the word "gold" in "fool's gold" makes it real gold. I could start a fucking riot--provided anyone believed me--by pointing out that the pledge was written by a socialist.
No shit. Look it up.
