Wedding Crashers or 40 Year Old Virgin?

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

Wedding Crashers or 40 Year Old Virgin?

Post by jjreason »

Okay, the old girl and I had our 10yr anniversary the other night. We chose to go see Wedding Crashers instead of 40 Year Old Virgin. It was "okay", and had a few lines that will make the all-time funny bullshit list - but it wasn't my favorite. Anyone here seen both? Did I fuck up?

i haven't seen crashers, but heard it was sub-par, same as your reaction. 40 Y-O V however, was fucking awesome! it was hysterical. steve carrel is one of the best comedians of our time.

it's not a "quote" movie, though. you know, where you leave the theater spouting the one-liners. it's just over-all really funny.

40-Year-Old Virgin 100%
One of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

I thought Wedding Crashers was kinda lame. It had it's moments, but the trailers made it looked better than it was.

I finally rented 40 YOV over X-mas break. That had to be one of the funniest flicks I've seen quite awhile. Last night I got my wife to trade in one of her Christmas gifts - The "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" soundtrack w/Donny Osmond - for Wedding Crashers. I think it was a fair trade & I haven't even watched it yet.[thumb]

This goes against every moral bone(which isnt many) that I have but you could have traded that soundtrack for one of those SW Choppers and came out ahead of the game.

I could have traded it for a severe case of the squirts and came out ahead of the game.

Too bad you didn't trade it in for "Josephine and the Amazing Technicolor Gangbang". Now that's a trade up.
