Okay, unless EP shows back up, I'm probably the only one. But why? RII, if I can drive to Vegas, you can drive your punk ass to Comic-Con.
I'm probably going to be bombarded by requests for exclusive figures now.

I was just out in Mission Viejo last month and I have a big project starting up next weekend. Besides, as you can probably tell from my lack of posting in the comics threads, I'm not really into anything else other than Star Wars. My wife said we can go to the SW convention next year in LA if I want to. Not sure if we are going yet. Gonna wait and see.

I'm going. But with my new job, I'll only be able to go on Saturday and Sunday. Or as I like to call those two days, Sardineville. 500,000 people crammed into a studio apartment.....

I'll watch for you guys on TV. G4TV is covering the event. I don't know if they are going to be there, but if you see Morgan Webb or Olivia Munn, check them out and let me know if they are hot in person. Blair Butler, the female comic critic, will probably be there. She is kind of cute...for a geek.

I'm calling in sick Thursday and Friday. I didn't ask for the days off earlier in the year, and got a definite "no" vibe before I put in for the days last week. My boss is an asshole, and it'd be easier to call in. I may make an excuse that my dad's sick, since that would require me driving to Vegas, which is definitely not a one-day trip.
Thankfully that job is going bye-bye in October, and I know for a fact they'll struggle without me.

I was gonna say if you weren't getting rid of the job that you could start hinting at problems with something. Like at the beginning of the week mention a sick family member and slowly through the week just drop more hints and make it seem worse so that if you call in it won't strike out of the dark.

Man, it's a damned good thing for you I logged in before driving down, Slicks. I'll see what I can do. As long as it's not ricockulous expensive, shouldn't be an issue. Since the other Chux has KH's taken care of.
