No I think they are doing the whole storyline, Boy gets Symbiote, Boy throws away Symbiote, Symbiote finds bad boy, Boy fights Symbiote/Bad Boy, Boy kills Symbiote/Bad Boy.

Guess that answers the question of whether Venom is a cliffhanger or actually in the movie. :mabs:

I was let down. It tried to pack too much in and be too much for too many. I thought that acting by Maguire, Dunst, and Franco was atrocious. "Serious" scenes were met with giggling and I honestly couldn't tell if they were trying to convey actual pathos, or going for the camp route. One would think based on the previous two films that they were being serious, and if that was the case, then they were phoning in performances. Ugh. Franco's grinning amnesiac Harry was so annoying, I felt as if he was secretly laughing at us in the audience for getting away with such hamminess. And Maguire's "Dark Side" Peter was a Hitler style haircut and some Saturday Night Fever finger snaps? Please. And Dunst was the worst. She look so bored, I regretted them not recasting her.

I enjoyed the action scenes. but there was nothing as memorable as the awesome Train Sequence of Spider-Man 2. Some of it was so fast and choppy and dark, I had trouble following it on the big screen. I enjoyed the crane incident the best.

Perhaps I need to go see it again (and probably will) but for now, I'm a tad dissappointed.
